BRINGING IT HOME12 candidates. 12 houses. The homestretch.

265 Corey Street, West RoxburyThe shutters could use a paint job, but the

lawn is in great shape. And that walkway lamp

is definitely some kind of surveillance camera.

93 Wachusett Street, Jamaica PlainThe flower-boxes are lovely and look well-cared

for. Maybe Arroyo could stop by Mike Ross'

house and water his plant?

12 Shaw Street, West RoxburyA child's bike. A minivan. A lawn chair. You can't

see from the photo, but the front door is

unlocked. There are totally cookies baking inside

this house.

18A Chittick Road, Hyde ParkMini-Menino lives right where you'd expect. In

the same neighborhood as Menino himself. But

sadly, there wasn't a rubber sidewalk in sight.*

60 Rosseter Street, DorchesterThe house has a darling front porch perfect for

greeting supporters. But beware of the dog that

lives next door. No seriously, steer clear of that

dog.

3 Hooper Street, DorchesterThe chain link fence lacks curb appeal but

seems to suggest a certain transparency. Stone

benches out back might work well for

constituents who stop by and want to chat.

12 Tuttle Street, DorchesterAmerican flags adorn almost all of the houses on

Tuttle Street. Tuttle Street feels a lot like Walsh's

campaign ads: all-American, clean cut and like a

scene from a movie about the 1950s.

29 Percival Street, DorchesterThe house seems to mirror her campaign. You

know there's something amazing in there, but

it's hard to spot behind all those trees.

20 Rockmere Street, DorchesterThe one-time organizer of lettuce boycotts

(seriously, lettuce boycotts) lives atop a hill and

abutting a park in Dorchester's Savin Hill

neighborhood. The only thing missing from this

street is a giant casino.

48 Virginia Street, DorchesterThe house is like Barros. It's big and bold, but

it could use some more greenery. And the

brickwork in front feels a little over the top.

Though if you tilt your head, it looks okay.

62 Weaver Court, RoxburyNo campaign signs. And two neighbors were

unaware Wyatt even had political aspirations.

Seems it isn't just the media with whom Wyatt

has been stando!sh. Shhhhh. Don't tell

anyone you're running for mayor. Playing hard

to get just might work.

214 Parker Hill Road, Mission HillA sad, scraggly plant sits on the front steps.

Let's hope this isn't a sign of what Ross

would do for Boston's parks.
