What’s needed to trigger renovation
- Triggering massification
- Assisting households
- Embedding energy performance
- In line with energy and climate ambitions

Timeline of the process
7
1. Initial contact through public services, logbook, websites...
2. Online registration and visit request by households3. Contact and planning of the visit: a nearby Passportercontacts the household by email and or phone, discusses their project and sets a date for the visit.4. On-site visit
a. Discussion of the household’s project, chat on renovation ingeneral, collection of basic information on the house.
b. House inventory: the Passporter diagnoses the condition of thenine work packages and looks at technical issues
c. Selection of an energy performance combination, and of theoptimal work packages with the household
d. Submission and discussion of the individual renovation roadmap.
5. Continuation of the renovation process (in-depth studies, energy and economic estimates, works, follow-up, etc.).

A trigger of energy performance
20
After one to three months, almost two thirds of owners (64%) made progress intheir project after getting a renovation roadmap :
• 36 % conducted further studies (economic and/or technical)• 46 % contacter craftspeople.
32 %
30 %
19 %

P2E’s influence on energy performance in the owner’srenovation projects
None (incl. confirmation of project already taking into account energy)
Performance enhancement on existing work packages
Inclusion of energy performance (initial project not taking it into account)
Performance extended to new work packages
Quicker, cheaper… but who pays?
21
€€€Accordingto owners
105€ TTC
According to Passporters400€ TTC
A Passport takes less than half a day in average to a Passporter, including first contact, travelling to the home and discussing the roadmap.• No calculations at home, better use of expertise, importance of the dialogueReality goes from 2.30h for experienced Passporters to 6h for beginners lacking competencein energy and technical issues.
