Citrix Branch Repeater accelerates WideArea Networks (WANs), providing users with a LAN-like

experience from remote locations. Branch Repeater offers a broad base of protocolaccelerationsupport, market-leading VDI acceleration for Citrix XenDesktop and sophisticated quality of

service (QoS)called SmartAcceleration. SmartAcceleration technology combines these key

technologies with extensive bandwidth and application usage reporting for service-centric WAN

optimization. Citrix technology optimizes the user experience while giving IT fine-grained control overWAN resources.

Available as both a physical and virtual appliance, Branch Repeater provides deployment choicesthathelp improve the user experience, reduce IT capital and operating costs and simplify branch office IT

by consolidating servers in the datacenter. Branch Repeater evolves network-centric WAN optimization

controller (WOC)infrastructure into a service-centric solution.
