We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated brand manager, who will be joining the existing team of Marketing specialists. We are proud of our strong brands, ”Kjeldsens” and ”Royal Dansk”, with the ”Kjeldsens” brand having been elected ‘Superbrand 2015’ in China. We are looking for a brand manager who can continue the work of strengthening and developing these brands. Kelsen Group A/S is the largest producer of butter cookies in the world and we sell our cookies in cooperation with our offices in Hong Kong, New York and Cape Town. In Denmark we have a total of 400 employees in our two factories in Nr. Snede and Ribe, respectively. We have a seasonal production with very high quality and safety requirements. Our parent company is the American food company Campbell Soup Company. Tasks and responsibilities In this newly created role as Brand Manager you will be reporting to the Marketing Director and become part of a well-functioning team of 7 persons in Nr. Snede. Your primary field of responsibility will be to develop and execute brand strategies in compliance with the overall strategic objectives of the company. This work is carried out in close cooperation with the global brand team that is based at Campbell’s HQ in Philadelphia, USA. It will be your job to translate the global strategy into a local brand strategy and to ensure a smooth implementation. You will be the ‘go-to’ person for our commercial team of market directors and sales supporters in relation to ensuring compliance with the brand strategy. Additional job tasks: Analyse and communicate customer, competitor and market insights to the commercial organisation Implement guidelines for other Campbell brands i.e. Campbell Soup, Pepperidge Farm and Arnott’s, in the EMEA region Actively participate in marketing related projects such as preparation of campaigns Various ad hoc tasks Personal skills We would expect our new colleague to possess the ability to work independently in an environment with ongoing changes. You have an impactful profile, good interpersonal skills and you are able to translate strategic objectives in order to succeed – you are the driving force behind the desired results. It is important that you: Can work independently and proactively – and that you are not afraid to stand by your opinion Are good at creating new and cultivating existing relationships Are able to interact at all organizational levels and in different cultural environments Have a dynamic and strong character with a target – and an open, trustworthy positive approach to the daily challenges Professional competences Preferably you have at least 5 years experience from a similar role in an international company, where you have obtained extensive knowledge of the FMCG market. Your educational background could be Bachelor or a Master’s degree. Furthermore, it is important that you have a mastery of English to a negotiation level and that you are a MS Office super user.
