Brava for IBM TRIRIGA allows users across the organization to efficiently view and collaborate on content in virtually any file format, including CAD drawings, PDF files, Microsoft Office documents, image files and more—without downloading multiple software applications.

Brava’s vector-based viewing provides accurate rendering of CAD geometry for excellent fidelity and readability at any zoom level. It enables accurate measurement, plotting and printing. The Takeoff tool allows you to count doors, windows and other features and to aggregate areas for flooring, piping or other materials.

Because Brava does not convert files to pixels (rasterize), it offers rapid and accurate searches on words and phrases within and across documents, letting workers anywhere in the world quickly find exactly the content that they need.

Streamline review and approval cycles

Brava has a full markup toolset, including Changemark® notes, which allow users to add comments and reply to each other’s questions. These discussions can be marked as high-priority issues, changes needing discussion or any other classification that fits your business processes. Perfect for large CAD drawings and multi-page files, Changemark notes step reviewers through every comment to ensure that nothing is missed. Multiple reviewers can work on a drawing simultaneously, and an authorized user can consolidate all markups into one file. The source document remains secure and unmodified (markups and stamps are saved in a separate XML file).

Brava boasts a full set of easy-to-use annotation and markup tools, including text, lines, shapes and discussion threads.

Get an at-a-glance view of modifications that have been made to a drawing or document with Brava’s Compare tool. To ensure accuracy of the final approved drawing, compare file versions to ensure that all changes have been made.

Add built-in or custom image stamps, including drawing status, copyright information and more. Stamps can also include system information like the date, user name and file location. When you’re finished with the document, you can quickly apply an electronic signature, date and even a professional seal.

Share files securely

Before sharing proprietary materials, use the redaction tools in Brava to remove text or entire areas of a drawing, either manually with area selection tools or automatically with pattern matching and text search. The source file remains secure and untouched.

After finalizing a redacted drawing or document, create a new file in PDF or TIFF. Brava can pull in metadata from the repository in addition to adding information like the user name and the date.
