SUPPORTING DATA AND OTHER FEE AND TAX HIKES BY BABIN In November 1982, then-Woodville Alderman Babin voted to increase the total revenue from property taxes by 32%.

In 1984 and 1985, Woodville tax rates were dropped, hitting 20.9 cents in 1985. But in 1986, Babin voted to raise the rates back up to 23 cents.

As a member of the Woodland Independent School Board in September 1992, Babin moved for the adoption of a tax rate of $0.4631 per $100 valuation, a tax hike.

In January 1983, then-Woodville Mayor Babin voted for a gas rate hike.
