Founded in 1996 , Sunshine Himalayan

Adventures (SHA) are an approved Tour Operator in the Northern Indian State of Himachal Pradesh (HP) and the only one permitted to offer tours in the pristine wilderness of India’s newest National Park – The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). SHA is dedicated to responsible Eco-tourism principles and tour products that are environmentally sustainable and economically beneficial to the local people. We offer our clients the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of the Western Himalayan ecosystem. MISSION

Joint Venture with SAHARA- Unlike other tour operators (many of whom are not locally based and often exploit the local population), SHA has a unique relationship with the regional Kullu Valley organization, SAHARA. SAHARA is a registered non-governmental society (NGO) of locally organized Kullu Valley villagers. SAHARA is dedicated to helping the local village people improve the quality of their lives by developing sustainable local economies (such as ecotourism). These are linked to the protection of the local environment. Our joint venture with SAHARA ensures that your fees actually help to support the local people and

build sustainable livelihoods.
