questions & answers

Facilies Management is one of the key industries of the built sector. It is responsible for close to 90% of the lifecycle of Real Estate and Infrastructure assets.

Therefore, with Nigeria's current Real Estate value of N6.5 Trillion esmated to grow at an average of 10% over the next few years, and a huge infrastructure sector esmated at $350 billion; it is safe to say that Facilies Management is fast compleng the circle of becoming another key contributor to Nigeria's rebased economy.

However, there are numbers of challenges slowing down the potenals of the FM industry in Nigeria. Such challenges are: the inclinaon of businesses to connue cung cost in the face of currently economic realies, the knowledge gap about the huge value FM can bring to the business boom line, absence of local FM companies to deliver global standards to the market, the cost of Health Safety and Environmental standards among others.
