®NANOSHELCreating Miracles in Black

Nanoshel LLC offers nanoparticles, nanopowder, micron powders, and carbon nanotubes in lab scale

for researchers and in bulk order for industrial engineering. Our expertise in the properties, applications

and various manufacturing of advance and engineered materials allows us to meet the needs of our

customers. .

Nanotechnology is the creation of useful, functional materials, devices, and systems through controlling

and manipulating matter on the nanometer-length scale (1-100 nanometers), and exploiting novel

phenomena and properties (physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, electrical) at that length scale.

In particular, carbon nanotubes (CNT) - a core fundamental material of the nano technology - is on the

spotlight, thanks to its minute size and excellent electric and mechanical properties that allow application

to various areas such as semiconductor & display, energy & environment, aerospace, and material

industry. Since the company commercialized CNT, Nanoshel has supplied various CNT materials through

continuous R&D and proved to be a leading technological power in the global market for high-quality

nano material applications.

Useful applications for nanotechnology

exist in areas, as diverse as materials,

manufacturing, bio-medical, electronics,

compu t ing, and t ranspor ta t ion .

Nanostructured metals and ceramics, for

example, could be made into exact shapes

without machining. Abrasives, coatings,

paints, and composites all could be made

stronger and better using nanoparticles.

Integrated nanosensors would enable

massive amounts of data to be acquired,

processed, and shared with minimal size, weight, and power consumption. Less expensive remote and in-

vivo devices would provide new routes for drug delivery. More durable, rejection-resistant artificial tissues

and organs could be created. And in automobiles, nanotechnology can lead to wear-resistant tires,

improved battery technology, and lightweight composites for increasing fuel efficiency.

Recently, the CNT industry has been speedily pursuing mass production and commercialization beyond

the development stage. In keeping with such trend, Nanoshel seeks to take the initiative in related

industries by making aggressive investments and through the company's experiences accumulated

through the years. Going forward, Nanoshel shall build its reputation as a reliable material provider

through mass production, quality advancement, and standardization of products and nurture R&D based

on a never-say-die spirit to become the undisputed “world's best CNT company.”

APPLICATION NANOSHEL CNT’s

- Thanks to the excellent physical properties and a large aspect ratio, Nanoshel CNT can

make a 3D network structure into thin films, thus gaining popularity as the perfect

material for transparent electrodes.

- Compared wi th the ITO t ransparent

electrodes commonly used at present, CNT

transparent electrodes offer better qualities

such as mass production of materials, low

production costs, and excellent flexibility.

- CNT can also be applied to flexible display

and e-paper as well as flat touch panels.

- When applying CNT, maintaining high purity, high crystalline, and mix of CNT -- which has

a relatively high metallic property is important. To improve these factors, many studies

have been conducted worldwide.

Shape Memory Polymer - Smart Materials

Properties and Applications of Polyurethane-

Shape Memory Polymer(SMP) is a new smart material with a "shape memory". A large, reversible change in

elastic modules across the Tg makes shape change and shape retention possible.

SMP is a polyurethane-based polymer and is available in a wide range of Tg temperatures (-40℃~+

120) with the accuracy of 1℃ with particular application needs. Processing is similar to that of typical

plastics. In addition, we not only offers pellets for various types of molding; but the polymer is also

available in various forms which include solution for coating and impregnation, micro beads, UV curing

polymer liquid and filaments. Furthermore, the polymer is durable, light-weight, transparent, and it can be

colored.

Micro - Brownian motion allows the nonporous polymer membrane to transfer molecules of water vapor

®NANOSHELCreating Miracles in Black

Barrier-free Utensil : The physically challenged can perform basic necessities more easily. Examples eating, brushing teeth, scissors and razor using with the unique shaping characteristics of SMP.

Nose guard for eye Glass : utilizing injection molded SMP This nose guard has the same mechanical properties to nose

Inflatable Material for Aero-space Applications: In foam structure, full/stowed volume ratio of 30 ~40 has been realized.

Intravenous Syringe Cannula : When injection is performed, it keeps its rigid state. Once under the Skin, it becomes flexible, resulting in greater comfort.

Fasteners - Easy disassemble using SMP by heating

APPLICATION CNT COMPOSITE

- CNT has superior electric and mechanical properties; its fibrous property simplifies the formation of a

network, providing high utilization as filler of complex materials.

- For instance, CNT is added as an internal additive complex to the inside of materials such as polymer,

metals, and ceramic or processed as an external additive complex in the forms of paint or paste for

coating. Various forms of CNT complex are under development, and some of them have been

successfully commercialized.

- CNT complexes can be widely applied as electric conductive complex, high-strength complex, and heat-

radiation (heat-conductive) complex. In particular, the electric conductive complex can realize high

conductivity and maximize the physical properties of the main material even though a much smaller

amount of the complex (almost 80% less) is required compared to existing fillers (carbon fiber and

carbon black); thus drawing considerable interest in the industry.

To maximize the strengths of CNT in a minute fibrous

structure when applying these complexes, dispersion

within the main material plays a critical role. The key

technology involves the improvement of dispersion of

CNT and enhancement of dispersion during the mix

with the main materials. Many researchers have

made efforts toward the corresponding development.

Silver nanoparticles appear various kinds of color powders which depend on their morphology and sizes,

and they can be dispersed in different solvents (such as water, ethanol, isopropanol) to generate colloidal

suspensions. Their sizes are controllable at relative wide range in nanometer scale, typically from about

2mm to several hundred nanometers. Their sizes depend on the preparation conditions.

can play an important role in the

suppression and killing of

dozens of pathogenic micro-

organisms such as Escherichia

coli, Staphylococcus auras.

As a new anti-infective product which has broad-spectrum, non-

resistance, free from the pH effects, antibacterial, durable, non-oxidized

black and many other properties, it can be widely used in medical,

household fabrics and health care supplies.

Distinction of Electronic Colloidal Silver Disinfection

The Colloidal Silver Disinfect water effect on fighting bacteria, sterilizing,

disinfecting and deodorizing excellently.

Strongest Point of Ag

Ag has the effect of disinfection in long hours since it doesn't volatilize.

It is safe to use for person who has sensitive skin because Ag is scentless

and innocuous.

Ag disinfect water as well as maintain the water quality or elements of

spring water.

Ag, compounded with oxygen produce oxidization and break the Bio Film

effectively to eradicate a virus of Legionella by combined use of peroxide.

It can reduce the maintenance expenses because it works automatically.
