Our activity in the transformation of Polymers is the extrusion and continuous vulcanization of profiles and tubes in different types of rubber as well as thermoplastic products for rigid profiles and flexible gaskets in different hardness. We have several co-extrusion, mono-extrusion and continuous vulcanization lines, automatic winding machinery and associated cutting machines. The range of rubber profiles in double hardness or compact-sponge is another of the options for supply.

Standard packaging for profiles used in enclosures are as follows:

PIn order to make the EPDM gasket assembly, a silicone emulsion can be superficially applied which will last on the profile throughout the storage period and makes the profile slide when being inserted.

Our EPDM extrusion lines are basically formed by an extruder, vulcanization tunnel, quenching bath, non-stick bath and packaging system (winders or cutting machines)Vulcanization system used is through hot air.

Extrusion lines for thermoplastic profiles are formed by an extruder, quenching bath and packaging system.

In all our production lines, dimensional control system through artificial vision (Zumbach) is implemented which guarantees dimensional stability throughout the production process.

Profiles presentation can be offered in cardboard reels, rolls or cut to size pieces. All of them inside their respective boxes.

We can transform a wide range of polymers, with which compact and cellular profiles are made.Cellular profiles are provided with low water-absorption levels as they are closed-pore, high tightness levels are achieved when being properly dimensioned. Densities obtained are from 0.30 gr/cm³ on.

Hardness levels achieved in compact profiles range from 45º and 90º Shore A.

One of ISOGOM’s specialities is the making of profiles for the enclosure sector. They are sealing gaskets and weatherstrips or PVC rigid profiles and other polymers used for light façades, roof-lights, doors, windows, banisters, etc. in aluminium, wood, PVC or steel.

These gaskets and profiles can be made with many possibilities for the support fixing through clipping systems, sliding guidance, adhesive application or mechanical fixing.

Another remarkable sector within our production is watertight gaskets for tilting doors and refrigerator and isothermal compartments as well as enclosures which require high soundproofing levels.

Although we work with a wide variety of formulations, we have a range of standard formulations in EPDM for regular consumption, specially developed for the manufacture of sealing profiles in enclosures. They range from 50 and 75 shore A in hardness. High mechanical characteristics and excellent resistance to extreme weather conditions.

Our technical department designs and develops profiles and gaskets in order to meet our customers’ needs. We can advise our customers in the design of the appropriate geometry, type of material, clipping or fixing system, etc. meeting their needs for the proper combination with their support elements.

In the enclosure sector gaskets that adapted to our customers’ profiles, achieving high sealing levels, have been developed. Pertinent tests on approved test benches have been carried out, according to UNE regulations on air permeability (UNE- EN 12207), water tightness (UNE- EN 12208) and resistance to wind load (UNE- EN 12210).
