communication, conflict resolution, coaching skills,

and increasing productivity.

Dr. Ursiny started Advantage Coaching & Training

(ACT) in 1997 with a focus on small business

owners and entrepreneurs. Over the last 5 years

Rich Tafel spent more than a decade as a high-profile political strategist, advising political andbusiness leaders. In 2002, he founded RLTStrategies as a way to bring his strategy successto help leaders in business and organizationsachieve their goals. A regular politicalcommentator, he’s appeared on most major newsprograms. Rich raised eyebrows in the nation’scapital with his 1999 book, Party Crasher (Simon& Schuster), in which he laid out a winningstrategy for political leaders. Before serving as apolitical leader, Rich developed strategies todeliver better health care to at-risk adolescents asthe Director of Adolescent Health Services in thestate of Massachusetts. Ordained followinggraduation from Harvard Divinity School, Richjoined the staff of the Memorial Church at HarvardUniversity. He volunteers as president of hiscongregation at Church of the Holy City inWashington, DC. He also serves as ViceChairman of AIDS Responsibility Project andjoined a staff Congressional Delegation to Africa inAugust 2003 to study AIDS service programs. Richalso volunteers on the board of ImmigrationEquality. In 2002 Rich was certified as a FranklinCovey Coach. In 2003 he was asked to serve onFranklin Covey Coaching’s Innovation AdvisoryBoard. Magazine,” “Experience Life Magazine,” and in the

Bill had previously founded other very successful

companies to include a Texas petroleum company in

1980, a New Zealand ski area in 1982, and a

nationwide US office products distribution company

in 1992. In 1988, Bill was featured in a 30-minute

documentary film produced by The Public

Broadcasting Service (PBS) and the New Zealand

Government to describe how a simple sheep-grazing

mountain was so successfully converted into the

Cardrona NZ ski area.

Bill was invited to discuss “Coaching” at the

Financial Planners Association Annual Conference

in Boston, Mass. Bill’s educational articles on

business and career coaching and business

solutions have been published over 78 times

throughout the US and Canada, by over 52

Magazines and periodicals.

Bill Walton brings over 16 years of experience asan executive coach and adult learning expert to hisclients. He has worked extensively in the FinancialServices, Pharmaceutical, New Media, Healthcare,Consumer Packaged Goods, and ManagementConsulting industries. Bill has particular coachingand training expertise in Leadership Development,Sales and Executive Presentation Skills.

While with Intro Inc., a new business consultancythat provides strategy consulting to early stagecompanies, he built turnkey sales infrastructures andcoached CEOs and their teams to build long termrelationships with their clients. Prior to Intro Inc.,Bill was a Senior Vice President with ManchesterInc., a leader in Executive Coaching and CareerTransition. At Manchester, Bill specialized incoaching senior-level executives to effectivelyassimilate into new organizations and assess theleadership capability of their teams.

Previously, Bill worked for the Forum Corporation, aleading training and consulting organization servingFortune 500 companies. While with Forum, hespecialized in such content areas as StrategicProspecting, Strategic Sell ing, ExceptionalManagement Practices, Organizational Influence,and Teams. He was also a member of the Merck &Co., Inc. faculty that delivered coaching to theirsenior leadership team. His clients included CIGNA,Unilever, and Stanley Tools.

Bill’s background also includes 10 years in theConsumer Products industry as a line manager andtraining specialist. As the Sales Promotion Managerfor Tambrands, Bill trained the domestic andinternational sales forces of the world’s leadingfeminine hygiene brand. Bill also enjoyed severalyears at Nestle Foods, and was appointed to theirSales Training School in just his second year.

Bill is a featured guest on CNNfn and is an adjunctprofessor at the New York University. He is afeatured contributor to Human Resource ExecutiveMagazine and an active member in The AmericanSociety for Training and Development, the WorldwideAssociation of Business Coaches, and The NationalAssociation of Sales and Marketing Executives. Billalso sits on the board of SellMasters Inc., a salesperformance enhancement forum.

Bill graduated magna cum laude from ConnecticutState University with a degree in BusinessAdministration and received a Masters in HumanResource Education from Fordham University.
