What is the Business Development workshop?

Business Development is a one-day workshop designed to further develop your knowledge,

understanding, skills and confidence to develop your business activities to increase outcomes.

Who is the Business Development workshop for?

The Business Development workshop is valuable for anyone at every level, whether you are an Executive

at a small organisation or Manager or Team Leader at a major organisation. The course has been

designed to meet the needs of every participant.

What will the Business Development workshop give you?

Greater knowledge and understanding of the elements of the business development process

and business development skills, which you can apply to generate more revenue or members,

for example, for your organisation

Greater skills and confidence in how to develop and implement the business development

process, and market and sell your products and services at any stage of that process, to generate

more revenue or members, for example, for your organisation

Opportunity to develop an effective process to market and sell a product or service from your

organisation

This is a one day workshop (9.00am – 3.30pm)

What is Forward Gears?

Forward Gears is a suite of professional development facilitated workshops that has been developed by

the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) to further develop your ability to achieve success in your role and

organisation.

You can complete one workshop or multiple workshops and you are encouraged and welcomed to

complete all workshops as they all form part of the big picture of success.

Who is the facilitator?

The Business Development workshop is facilitated by Peter Karounos. Peter is an experienced

consultant in the area of organisational psychology. Peter brings over 10 years’ experience and expertise

in providing solutions that maximise individual, team and organisational performance.

Peter has supported local (Australia) and global organisations, including travel nationally and to

Houston, London, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Auckland. He has worked at all levels; from

executive to the frontline, across industries including oil and gas, mining, construction, manufacturing,

utilities, government and sport.

Peter works with individuals, teams and organisations to develop, deliver and manage solutions

designed to maximise performance. His mission is to support individuals, teams and organisations at

every stage of the performance lifecycle; to plan, engage, develop and retain/sustain.

Peter has completed his Masters Degree in Organisational Psychology and Human Factors at the

University of Adelaide. Furthermore, he is accredited in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Human

Synergistics Life Styles Inventory (LSI1, LSI2) and Hogan Assessments.
