23 Material Requirement Plan (MRP) | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

39. On previous action the following image indicates availability of machines apart from prompting

requisitions to be sent for hiring/owning.

40. Set PCs to all Tasks and subtasks and for all days as explained in the above steps.

15 Material Requirement Plan (MRP) 41. Based on the Project Task quantities, schedules and rate analysis, production coefficients for

each one of the subtasks differently at different times and doses that we have performed in

above steps would create a Material Requirement Plan (MRP) as already calculated by OMS.

42. Now we require procuring these machines, materials, manpower and contract by sending

requisitions for approving them or taking decisions at administrative level by making top level

decisions whether to buy machines hire or subcontract as the case may be.

43. The material requirement for one month is as under OMS >> Engineering >> Resource

Requisition at http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/ProjectResourceRequirement.aspx.

24 Material Requirement Plan (MRP) | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

15.1 Indents Requisitioned 44. Under OMS >> Administration >> Indents Requisitioned process enables the project

management team whether or not to own, hire or subcontract a particular work depending on

viability, convenience, proximity among several issues.

http://ttd.aeclogic.com/OMS/IndentProcess.aspx

45. If a machine is required to be owned, the management may opt for PO, else WO. Number of

machines/manpower hours per month for work resources enables the required numbers for

procurement under double shift or multiple shifts as the case may be.

15.2 Exclude Captive Resources 46. Two resources namely, 'Drilled Holes' and 'stone Spalls Sized' are captive resources that get

produced during respective operations and therefore we need not procure them. They get

generated during a prior process to be incorporated in to the next process. System takes care of

these effects wherever required.

26 Progress Recording | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

49. The following Blasting task contains material and labour charge to perform blasting operation.

This is best example to check norms with respect to the planned quantities.

50. Following image is the main crushing item that performs production of aggregates. Maximum

expenditure is involved in the item below.

18 Progress Recording 51. The following three images show expenditure, production and progress of the main project task

ptCrushing.

27 Progress Recording | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

52. The expenditure is actual machinery logs and material consumption as per site incorporation.

Production is actual stock counting of measurement at the end of the shift or day work. Progress

is the expected target achievement for the designed resource performance.

53. The production should always match with the planned resources. Any variances shall get

reflected in the reports. For the example case below the ptCrushing days target is 828.729 tonne

where as production of Dust, aggregates 10 mm to 40 mm sums up to 800 tonne leaving about

28.729 tonne

54. The progress is recorded in the unit of mass as originally planned and analyzed based on number

of weighed loads input in to the hopper feed. This can be achieved by suitable log as convenient

at site.

28 Stock Management & Accounting | AEC Logic Pvt Ltd

19 Stock Management & Accounting 55. If the takes produces captive resource and the configuration is Work-in-Process Task Transaction

Note (TRN) is pushed to accounts as WiP entries and these captive resources shall gain be

available for next project task to be preformed. In case if the produced captive resources are

configured as Finished Goods, then TRN is pushed to accounts as finished goods as if these have

been received from a self styled vendor (Self Vendor) affecting the inventory and stock balances

with cost of production associated with each item as proportioned during configuration.

56. Self Vendor is debited and inventory involved in producing these Resources are credited. An

internal GRN is triggered followed by a Conversion Order (CO) raised on the Self Vendor. In the

next step the Self Vendor is credited and the cost of the goods so produced is debited to the

captive resources so produced affecting the stock as usual process. These produced items could

either be sold on regular sale order or can be incorporated as regular resources for progress of

other project tasks.

20 Conclusion 57. For other processes follow the documentation available at the link below.
