2003- HCL Infosystems crosses 100,000 unit milestone in Indian PC

2006- HCL Infosystems showcases Computer Solutions for the Rural

2010- Rolled out India's first Smart Cardbased e-Governance project for

Public Distribution System.

MERGERS, ACQUISITIONS AND

ALLIANCES HCLs first major joint venture was with HP in the year 1991 to form HCL

HP Ltd. The joint venture ended in the year 1996 and HCL became an

enterprise with HCL Technologies and HCL Infosystems Ltd.

Another major acquisition is the $441 million acquisition ofAxon Group inDecember 2008, which is a SAP Consulting company in the UK. This

acquisition has enabled HCL to address about $23 billion per year SAP

market.
