First three digits is fund with many changes Digits 4-7 are the four digit function code for why you are purchasing Digits 8-13 are the six digit object code for what you are purchasing Digits 14-17 are the four digit location code for your school or building Digits 18-23 are the six digit project code (usually 000000) Digits 24-25 are the two digit grant year (usually 00) FFF-FFFF-OOOOOO-LLLL-PPPPPP-YY

You can look up account codes from within many of the screens in the BusinessPLUS system.

Looking Up Account Codes from Within the Purchase Request Screen

Once logged into BusinessPLUS use the Purchase Request link on your dashboard.

Click the Add icon to go into Add mode the screen. Note that the screen says Add Mode in upper right corner.

Add the line item amount and description. When you are ready to enter the account code, click on the ellipses beside the Account field.

From the drop down box, select Lookup Account. You will then see the following box pop-up. A list will appear of account numbers to which you have access. You can search for your account using the wild cards as shown on the next page:

After entering your search criteria, hit enter or click apply to get your results. Once the results appear, you can double click on any of the accounts to populate the account on your purchase request.
