Marketing Management in Mobile Phones

A mobile phone (also known as a cellular phone, cell

phone and a hand phone) is a device that can make

and receive telephone calls over a radio link while

moving around a wide geographic area. It does so by

connecting to a cellular network provided by a mobile

phone operator, allowing access to the public

telephone network. By contrast, a cordless telephone is

used only within the short range of a single, private

base station.

In addition to telephony, modern mobile phones also

support a wide variety of other services such as text

messaging, MMS, email, Internet access, short-range

wireless communications (infrared, Bluetooth),

business applications, gaming and photography.

Mobile phones that offer these and more general

computing capabilities are referred to as smartphones.

Now we know what is Mobile Phones and which

services it provide. So now, let’s discuss some

marketing Questionnaire’s..!!!

Why I select this product/service?

Today, technology has taken a new approach to ease-of-use, putting

everything the internet has to offer on a mobile application. In order

to be competitive in the business world, even the smallest of local

businesses should consider mobile marketing as a means to reach

consumers who are on the go. With the right mobile marketing

campaign, your business can be in the palm of consumers’ hands,

making it easier for them to spend their hard-earned money on your

quality products and services.

Mobile marketing specialists are trained and proficient in application

development with several content management systems, including

WordPress, Joomla and Magento. Team members understand the ins

and outs of iPhone/iPad SDK, Windows Mobile SDK and Blackberry

SDK app technology and they know how to create mobile

applications that appeal to target audiences.

Not only is mobile marketing the answer to expanding your business,

but it is a great way to increase exposure and revenues.

Mobile technology is moving fast, so there is no time to waste…..!

What are your competitors Unique Selling

Proportion [U.S.P]?

In business, there will always someone bigger than you, who has

more marketing money than you, has been in business longer than

you, and who may even be able to deliver a product or service at a

lower price. Your competitors may have higher internet search

rankings and an army of followers on Facebook. How do you compete

in the marketplace with disadvantages like that? Before you can

begin to sell your product or service to anyone else, you have to sell

yourself on it. This is especially important when your product or

service is similar to those around you. Very few businesses are one-

of-a-kind. Just look around you: How many clothing retailers,

hardware stores, air conditioning installers and electricians are truly

unique?

The key to effective selling in this situation is what advertising and

marketing professionals call a "unique selling proposition" (USP).

Unless you can pinpoint what makes your business unique in a world

of homogeneous competitors, you cannot target your sales efforts

successfully.

My competitors have following types of U.S.P for marketing.

1. Samsung mobile – “The next big thing is here”, “Be Creative”.

2. iPhone – “It doesn’t take a genius”, “Think Different”.

3. Nokia mobile – “Amazing everyday”, “Connecting People”.

4. SONY xperia – “Add Extra Spice to Your Life”, “Smart has never

been this simple”.

5. HTC – “Quietly Brilliant”

What means of transport you will use and why? I chose Road transport for my transportation. In which lorry and Van are the good option for me to move goods one place to another. I use because Road transport is cheap, convenient and one of the most flexible modes of transport. And also Road transport connects places very well. Provide door to door service.

What cost effective techniques will you follow for your promotion plan?

Promotion and advertising can be a heavy expense, especially for a new business that wants to make itself known in a community. A home-based business, however, more often than not, has a very limited budget when it comes to advertising. The home business owner needs to make the public aware of his or her product or service at the lowest possible cost. Here are some points which I prefer for promotion:-

1. EVENTS 2. CONTESTS 3. COMMUNITY SERVICE 4. COUPONING 5. CELEBRATE HOLIDAYS 6. GO WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE 7. MAILING LISTS 8. SEMINARS 9. NEWS CREATION 10. BUILD A WEBSITE FOR YOUR BUSINESS 11. CREATE PARTNERSHIPS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS 12. USE FREE PUBLICITY
