The mission of the TMC is to make our system intelligent enough to know that you are coming, and not make you wait.

•Traffic Management Center (TMC)

•Traffic Signal Maintenance

•Timing

•Design / Spesifications

•Locates / Utility Coordination

•Field Inspection

•The backbone: 140 miles of fiber optic cable

•191 intersections communicating to the TMC

•Daily:Check that all signals are operating properly. If not take corrective actions.

Check phone messages and emails

Run detection diagnostics report for all signals. For both Vehicular & Pedestrian detection (currently 11 pages)

Check all PTZ cameras.

Make timing changes as needed.

• Weekly:

•Run Auto Compare to check the databases

Monthly:

•Check the health of the UPS’s

•Check the Preemption System

•Check the Video Detection Cameras

•if they need to be cleaned or adjusted

•Detection fault:

•If negatively impacting the main street ASAP.

•If negatively impacting the side street 24 hrs max.

•Ground PM – once or twice a year

•Aerial PM – Once a year

•MMU testing once every 24 months.
