179) OM SRI SAI EESHARADHANA TATPARAAYA NAMAH

[Meaning: - Salutations to Lord Sai who is ever engrossed in the worship of the Lord]

One who is always immersed in the worship of the Lord is redeemed from this cycle of birth and death. When we say “Ever engrossed in worship”what would it mean? Does “worship” refer to- sitting in a particular place, closing our eyes and praying the Lord? Yes, such an act is certainly a partof the worship but not necessarily be branded as “This is the lone way to propitiate the Lord”. The true worship or the “wholesome worship”includes the regular rituals, the eight fold or the four fold worship, meditation, chanting etc; but all these form only a subset of the universal set-WORSHIP. This universal set (Worship) not just includes the external display of devotion but also the adaptation of the same in every walk of our life.

A close look at Sri Adi Sankara’s “Siva Manasa Pooja” will answer the sadhakas question as to what “Worship” actually means. Sankara in hishymn explains the way as to how he mentally worships the Supreme Spirit (the word maanasa here should be understood as something that is donethrough mind). Devotees are requested to read the same for their benefit. To sum up he says that whatever he talks, walks, eats, and breathes is allbut a part of the worship of the LORD.

With this insight, a saadhaka should always remember that what he does, what he speaks is all but a part of the Lord’s worship. When such anawareness dawns in the saadhakas mind, he becomes mindful, watchful of every act of his, careful of every step he takes in his path of progression,and cautious of every word he utters. As he treads the path of spirituality by assiduously following all the above, then such a one is said to be the one“who is constantly engrossed in the worship of the Lord” and such a one is liberated fast.

Lord Sai who is Lord himself, demonstrated the same to his devotees by strictly following the path perfect. Let us also follow the same “ShubhraMarga” shown by our beloved Lord SAI SAMARTHA.

News1. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Organizes Free Kidney Stone Camp – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

The Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) Shri.Baji Rao Shinde informed media persons at a press conference heldon Wednesday, 27th January 2016 that 59 Patients were treated and operated for Kidney stones at a Free Kidney Stone Camp organized incollaboration with well-known Uro Surgeon Dr.Ketan Shukla from Ahmedabad at Shri Sainath Hospital run under the auspices of Shri Sai Baba

collaboration with well-known Uro Surgeon Dr.Ketan Shukla from Ahmedabad at Shri Sainath Hospital run under the auspices of Shri Sai BabaSansthan Trust (Shirdi) between 22nd to 24th January 2016.

Shri Sai Baba Hospital & Shri Sainath Hospital run by Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi is regularly conducting various medical camps throughoutthe year. These camps are: Artificial Lens Implant Camp, Jaipur Foot (artificial leg) Camp, Plastic Surgery Camp, Homeopathic Camp, Arthritis andJoint Pain Camp, Laparoscopic Surgery for Ladies Camp, Diagnosis for all Diseases Camp, Nesam Endoscopy Camp, Cancer Detection Camp, EyeCataract Surgery Camp, Squint Eyes Checking Camp and Lithotripsy Camp, Kidney Stone Camp etc..

In the recent free Kidney stone camp 21 patients were successfully operated with Sound waves (Lithotripsy) to remove small stones that measuredaround 1 to 1.5 cms. Similarly 38 patients were successfully operated with percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (P.C.N.L) to remove Big Stones. This wasdone in cooperation with well known Uro Surgeon Dr.Ketan Shukla from Ahmedabad (Gujarat) who came to Shirdi with his Ambulance Theatre Vanalong with his entire team & performed free treatment & Surgery.

Shri.Shinde said that Shri Sainath Hospital’s General Surgeon Dr. Ram Naik, Anesthetists, Doctors & other staff members of the hospital extended theirhelping hand for this camp. The cost to remove Kidney Stone by Surgery at a Private Hospital will be approximately Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,000 but ShriSaibaba Sansthan’s Sainath Hospital has extended this service free of cost to the patients. Sansthan also provided 2 times Food & Tea for all thepatients who were treated in this camp.

2. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Honours Outstanding Students in Sports, Arts and Oratory Competitions – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Shirdi.

On the occasion of Republic Day on Tuesday, 26th January 2016, the Executive Officer Shri. Bajirao Shinde distributed prizes to the Studentsstudying under the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Educational Scheme who have done significant achievement in the field of Sports, Arts & Oratory.

On the occasion of 67th Republic day on 26.01.2016, the Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde hoisted India’s National Flag at a function organised at the Large Ground belonging to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust Educational Scheme. All the Students from Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust EducationalScheme, All administrative officers, All the Teachers, Accounts Head & all the Staff Members were present on this occasion and paid respects to toIndian National Flag. Prizes were distributed and congratulatory message were read out to Shri. Kairnar Subhash, Kumari.Sonwane Srishti Sunil,Shri.Sonwane Sarthak Sunil, Shri.Rawat Pradip Bacchan Singh, Shri.Patane Anant Shivlingh , Shri.Gondkar Siddharth Rajendra from Sai Baba EnglishSchool, Kumari Dabhade Vaishnavi Rajendra, Kum.Kapase Nikita Babaso from Girls School, & Shri.Jadhav Vishal Jumbar & Singer Shri.Ajay Rameshfrom Industrial Training Institute for their significant achievement in the field of Sport, Art & oratory.

Similarly Executive officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde also presented a Memento & congratulated Shri.Dinesh Raghu Devashi a 10thStandard Student fromSai Baba English Medium School who has been Selected in the Sports Talent Search conducted by Sports Authority of India (SAI)and also wished allsuccess to him for his future endeavours. 3. Shri Sai Baba Sansthan rolls out “Sai Seva” – a New Initiative to serve Patients at Sainath Hospital – Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust(Shirdi)

The Medical Director of Sansthan Hospital Dr.Vijay Patil informed media persons at a Press Conference held on Thursday, 21st January 2016 thatShri Sai Baba Hospital & Sainath Hospital run under the auspices of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) has rolled out a new initiative titled “SaiSeva” for the Interested people who wants to serve and requested that those who are interested to participate in this new initiative can contact theHospital Management.

In the Holy book of Shri Sai Satcharitra , it is mentioned that Shri Sai Baba used to serve the needy patients & by giving Udi as Medicine He used tocure many diseases. To continue the legacy of left by Shri Sai Baba, Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust started Shri Sainath Hospital in the year 1964. Inthis hospital everyday thousands of patients from Shirdi & surrounding villages are being treated. The speciality is that the inflow of Poor and needy

To write down the case history of Patients who are illiterate and thus cannot read & write and of Aged Patients and personally take them tothe concerned Doctor’s consulting room.After consultation with the Doctor, help them and guide them about the Medicines prescribed by the Doctor.To forward the Complaints /suggestion given by the Patients to the Medical director / Higher authorities of the hospital.

Medical Director Dr.Vijay Patil informed that service minded people who are interested to do Seva should be both physically & Mentally fit, should nothave any Criminal background or Police Records against them & should provide No Objection Certificate issued by the Police Department. Free food &Tea twice a day will be provided for the volunteers who would like to participate in this service. Selection of Service Volunteers will be finalized afterpersonal interview with the Medical Director. People who are willing to participate in this service will neither be included in the regular roles of Sansthannor they will have any rights with respect to their work responsibilities. All the rights wrests with the Medical Director and he will be fully entitled toremove the Volunteers from Service if their work is not found to be satisfactory. The Service Volunteers should at any cost not interfere in any mannerin the daily functioning of the hospital. Separate Identity cards will be issued to the Service volunteers and Identity Cards thus issued should behanded over to the Hospital Officials after completion of their Duty. 4. "Sai Shahir" CD - A collection of poems composed by Shri.Dasganu Maharaj released in Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi)

"Sai Shahir" Compact Disc which contains a collection of poems composed by Late Shri.Das Ganu Maharaj and sung by well known SingerShri.Kishore Sasvade was officially released at a function held at Shri Sai Baba Sansthan on Thursday, 21st January 2016 by the Deputy ExecutiveOfficer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde. Shri Rao Saheb Garudakar , Shri.Suraj Agrawal, Shri. 5. Veteran Hindi Film Actor Couples Shri.Rishi Kapoor and Smt.Neetu Singh visit Shirdi -Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Veteran Hindi Film Actor Couples Shri.Rishi Kapoor and his Actress Wife Smt.Neetu Singh visited Shirdi on Saturday, 16th January 2016 and haddarshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi. The Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde and Chief Public Relations Officer Shri.Mohan Jagannath Yadav werealso present on the occasion.

6. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands His Excellency Shri.A.K Singh visit Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

His Excellency Shri.A.K.Singh, the Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands visited Shirdi on Wednesday, 13th January 2016 and had darshan of ShriSai Baba's Samadhi. The Executive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde and Chief Public Relations Officer Shri.Mohan Jagannath Yadav were also present onthe occasion.

7. Hyderabad Sai Devotee Shri.N.Murali Krishna donates Rs.1,00,01,133/- (Rupees One Crore One Thousand One Thirty Three only) to ShriSai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Sai Devotee Shri.N.Murali Krishna from Hyderabad donated Rs.1,00,01,133/- (Rupees One Crore One Thousand One Thirty Three only) inmemory of his wife Smt.K.Namudurai Kanaka Durga for the purpose of Free Annadan at Sai Prasadalay during all the 3 major festivals in the year2016. He handed over the Cheque on Sunday, 10th January 2016 to the Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi), Shri. BajiraoShinde.

Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) has already started a new scheme for collecting donation from the Devotees for the purpose of Free Annadaanat Sai Prasadalay during Festivals and other days. A Devotee can donate for one day Free Annadaan at Sai Prasadalay in his /her name or in memoryof any close relative like Son-Daughter, Mother–Father, Wife-Husband on their special days like Birthday/Anniversary. 9. Ghaziabad Sai Devotee donates 40 Seater Eicher Bus worth 16,33,000 to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) - Shri Sai Baba SansthanTrust (Shirdi).

Sai Devotee from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh Shri.Satyanarayana Goud donated a 40 Seater Eicher Bus worth Rs.16,33,000/- (Rupees Sixteen LakhThirty Three Thousand only) to Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) on Thursday, 7th January 2016. The keys of the Vehicle was received by theExecutive Officer Shri.Bajirao Shinde. Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde, Vehicle Department Incharge Shri.Navnath Kote and otherdignitaries were also present on the occasion.

10. Former Union Minister Shri.Praful Patel visit Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Former Union Minister Shri.Praful Patel visited Shirdi along with his family members on Monday, 4th January 2016 and had darshan of Shri Sai Baba'sSamadhi.

11. Gujarat Saint Shri Sairam Guruji successfully completes "Backward Walking" (Retropedaling) from Baruch to Shirdi -Shri Sai BabaSansthan Trust (Shirdi).

Saint Shri.Sairam Guruji from Baruch, Gujarat successfully completed 560 KM of "Backward Walking" also known as Retropdaling from Baruch toShirdi within 10 days and had darshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi on Sunday, 3rd January 2016. Chief Public Relations Officer Shri.Mohan JagannathYadav was also present on the occasion.

Shri.Sairam Guruji is continuously peforming this "Backward Walking" from Baruch to Shirdi for the last 41 years four times a year during ShriRamanavami, Guru poornima, Vijayadashmi and Datta Jayanthi Celebrations.

12. Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh visit Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri.Shivaraj Singh Chouhan visited Shirdi along with his family members on Friday, 1st January 2016 and haddarshan of Shri Sai Baba's Samadhi.

After the Samadhi Darshan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri.Shivaraj Singh Chouhan was felicitated by the Executive Officer of Shri Sai BabaSansthan Shri.Bhajirao Shinde.

The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr.Raman Singh visited Shirdi along with his family members on Friday, 1st January 2016 and had darshan of ShriSai Baba's Samadhi.

After the Samadhi Darshan, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr.Raman Singh was felicitated by the Executive Officer of Shri Sai Baba SansthanShri.Bhajirao Shinde. The Deputy Executive Officer Shri.Appasaheb Shinde was also present on the occasion.

13. New Year - 2016 Celebration at Shirdi - Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).

On the occasion of New Year 2016, the Samadhi Mandir and the Campus were beatifully decorated with Flowers on Friday, 1st January 2016 with thehelp of generous contribution made by Mrs.Vandana Vartak from Mumbai.
