Purpose of Project:We wanted the students to identify, take

pictures, and be able to right the names of the animal names. The students went to the Zoo in the fall and were asked to take pictures of a Squirrel, Mouse, Bear, Fox, and a Bunny. In this project we wanted the students to crop, identify the animal in the picture, and then put it into PowerPoint.

Differentiated ProjectAs a special education teacher it is my job to give my

students the best opportunity to succeed. My student was diagnosed as having a cognitive disability. I modified the project the best way I saw fit. The first way I modified this project was that I did not require my students to crop the photos. I thought it was much more important that my students were able to get the correct picture, while labeling the slide with the correct animals.

It was my goal, that my students were able to recognize the animals, and spell the names correctly. Because my student did not crop, I wanted them to know how to add color to a slide.
