History of Spiš region

 its one of the most beautiful regions of Slovakia

 there is a long tradition of alcohol production dated from the beginning of 13th century

Geographically extends from the Polish border, through the peaks of the High Tatras mountains to Rožňava hollow basin in the south of Slovakia.

History of town Stará Ľubovňa

is one of  the royal cities in the Spiš region  first mention of this town is maintained in

the year 1235 it was under the cognizance of clergy of the

Cracow Kingdom till the year 1234 city kept the culture and traditions of both

countries which gave it some advantages. One of those was production of alcohol

1364, when the town received status of the royal city, town privileges and the off-license. (by King Louis 1.)

History of Gas Familia

 it was founded by Ladislav Gurega and his son Marián, as a private enterprise

 added to commercial register on 16.6.1994

the dream of revitalizing of this highly-developed industry in the Stará Ľubovňa became a reality in 1997

production started mainly with typically Slovak drinks
