7. CARESSE - Tricky sort. Pleased just once in five starts at Caen and not a priority here on recent form

8. DANAE D'ELA - Returned to her best after winter break. Disqualified last time but can challenge for a spot in the frame

9. DOLOPIA DE CHENU - Has been in excellent form this term. Won well at Vichy earlier this year and another honest performance expected

10. COMETE ROYALE - Got back in the game at Mauquenchy three starts ago but has failed to reproduce that form. Unlikely threat

11. CARLA DES CARAIBES - Regular earner but is a long-time maiden. Place chance at best in this line-up

12. CAMBADA D'OR - Appears to have lost her way this campaign. Barefoot for the occasion but best watched for now

13. COTE D'AZUR - Has ability but is erratic and recent efforts do little to inspire confidence

14. DANIKA DE COURT - On a good run this year and is reined by a top driver here. Should be competitive

15. DATCHA - Rarely disappoints when applied. Drops in class and can play a leading role

16. DEESSE SAINT BAR - Complicated but has considerable talent and with application should not disappoint

Summary

(16) DEESSE SAINT BAR flopped in Paris last time out but must not be condemned for display. On earlier form, she could well make amends in this company. In-form (14) DANIKA DE COURT is likely to provide stiff competition if reproducing recent efforts, while (15) DATCHA can also make her presence felt back on a flat track which she thrives on. A case can also be made for (8) DANAE D'ELA and (2) DIAGANA SPORT who have chances too from the front row.

Typically wide-open Quinte race, from which hat-trick seeking (4) BE BOP DE CRENNES, a horse in full bloom, can emerge victorious. This Erno Szirmay-trained gelding has won well on the turf recently and the change of surface is unlikely to hold any fears. (6) BRAQUO fluffed his lines last time but could pose a formidable threat on the form of his earlier success at Vichy. Dual-purpose performer (5) ASTRAL DE BEAUMEE arrives in good order and could make his presence felt reverting to harness. (13) BLACK JACK FROM beat a useful field at La Capelle prior to his last-start disqualification and also get a look in on that form. (3) BARBIBUL notched up seven consecutive wins last year and could a play role in the outcome if bouncing back to that form.

Intriguing contest featuring several promising types, none more so than unbeaten filly (3) FAMILY D'ARJEANC and undefeated colt (5) FALCO SOMOLLI. The form of the former's recent win appears stronger, though, and she can preserve her 100% record. The latter is the pick of driver-trainer Jerome Compass who has a handy second-string to his bow in well-performed (12) FURIANI DE TAVERNA who, despite a 25m handicap, must have a chance on the strength and consistent of his form. The same could be said of (14) FREDO GRIFF whose last-start failure, in his seventh start, was the first time he'd not finished in the first three! A case could also be made for last-start winner (1) FRANCE AMERICA from the front row. Good race!

(6) CELESTE DRY likes this course. Barefoot and ready for this race she could be the one to beat. (3) DOYALE FOR D'AM likes a flat course and this right-handed track will suit. A big danger. (10) AFRIQUE and (13) BAMBINA DU PARC usually give of their best and are in with a winning chance as well. It is a very competitive field.

4. DESTINEE WINNER - Superb campaigner when applied. With application can play an important role

5. DOLLY DES VAUCHAUX - Does not have a good record at the venue but is proven in this discipline so must be considered

6. DIABOLIC QUEEN - Won a class E at Vincennes last January but has since lost his way. Must reaffirm

7. DON JUAN DU HOULEY - Did nothing of note this season before improved last start when racing barefoot. Same applied here so must be respected

8. CROSSFIRE - Classy type quickly making up for lost time. Has won all three starts this year and has Lebourgeois at the reins - the one to be with

9. DAZIO BEST - Made no impact in harness races for 22 months before winning under the saddle. Could have more to offer in this code

10. DIS NOUS TOUT - Excellent campaigner when applied. At the top of his game and must be respected despite racing shod

11. DAISY THORIS - Considerably better horse in this branch of the game but is delicate. Must reaffirm

12. DARK TURQUET - Useful trotter in this code and although not in the same form as he was last year, cannot be overlooked

13. BLAS DE BOUSSIERES - Seldom far from the action when maintaining stride. If applied can pick up a small stake

14. BELLAGIO FEAT - Currently enduring stride issues although is capable of improving racing unshod and with application

15. BACCARAT SUN - Not the most productive of horses at the moment and has a lot to find here

16. CHARMEUR LUDOIS - Has enjoyed a productive run in this discipline. Twice runner-up this term

17. CIGALE D'ARRY - Showed a different side when racing barefoot. With application will have a lot to offer

18. BOB DES CARREAUX - Improved second start back and the sanctioned

Summary

Plagued with issues early on but quickly making up for lost time, it is hard to oppose (8) CROSSFIRE who is currently in full bloom. He has won his last four completed races and recently completed a hat-trick of wins this term. The selection is the choice of top driver Yoann Lebourgeois, so is logically the horse of the race. (9) DAZIO BEST is entirely better in this code, as he showed when winning at Chartres before a last-start failure under harness, and he could have a very good role to play. (4) DESTINEE WINNER, (10) DIS NOUS TOUT, (17) CIGALE D'ARRY and (3) DERBY D'ANJOU all have the ability to make their presence felt too.

3. FINCA VIGIA - Sanctioned on debut here before reassuring at Segre. Gets another chance and if applied can make the first five

4. FESTIN D'OSTAL - Has placed just once in three under harness and even with Raffin in the wagon will still have a lot to find

5. FOLETTE DU MANS - Caught the eye on Vichy debut. Sanctioned next time but can play a major role if she can stay in stride

6. FOLLOW VET - Decent type that would have gone close on Graignes comeback and on good behaviour can make a big impact

7. FANTASIA DIKA - Delicate sort that has yet to convince and best to monitor

8. FANGIO MADRIK - Solid in both racecourse appearances to date and is hard to envisage being far off the mark

9. FANGIO DU BOCAGE - Just one place to his name in eight career starts and looks thoroughly outclassed

10. FARAH SPORT - Pleased at Bernay earlier this month after four failed efforts but a repeat looks decidedly unlikely

11. FERRARI SOYER - In the frame in both harness starts so far. Steps up in class but one to note all the same

12. FILOU DE LA ROUVRE - Imposed over 2950m here on debut before losing his action at Angers. Drops back in trip and with application can trot off with the silverware

Summary

(12) FILOU DE LA ROUVRE won over longer on debut here late April and although sanctioned next time he can nonetheless be backed with confidence as he bids to keep his Saint-Malo record intact. (5) FOLETTE DU MANS however looked a good sort in the making on her Vichy debut late May and could well prove the principal threat. The handy (6) FOLLOW VET left regrets at Graignes on comeback but has had time to get his act together and with application can go far. (8) FANGIO MADRIK has yet to disappoint and can be counted on for a solid effort.

4. FULL MUSIC - Five races under her belt and yet to live up to expectations. Disregard

5. FENIX DU DIGEON - Not the most rewarding but encouraged at La Gacilly. Will however need to raise his game

6. FAIRLY VERDERIE - Left a very good impression on debut at Lisieux before faulting at Questembert. Lebourgeois gets the nod here and could prove the surprise element

7. FULL LIFE - Has more than once shown hints of ability and will have her supporters

8. FLORIAN BECO - Has shown respectable aptitude so far. Sanctioned last time but with more focus could trot into the money here

9. FIERTE D'OURVILLE - Not the most productive of horses but regularly gives her best and should not be far off the mark

10. FILOU DE L'ELLE - In the frame in two of last three. Goes clockwise for the first time but a player all the same

11. FOUDRE MANATHIS - Loyal filly so far. Proved herself right-handed mid-June and could well open her account this time

12. FRIPON D'EP - Has struggled with stride issues since his winning debut but Lamy has stayed faithful and must be respected

Summary

Although yet to win a race (11) FOUDRE MANATHIS has given a fine account on each occasion and looks to have an ideal opportunity to lose her maiden tag. On paper (12) FRIPON D'EP may not be an obvious choice but he has evident ability and if Lamy has kept the faith one should take note. (10) FILOU DE L'ELLE makes his first appearance right-handed but has been relatively faithful so far and should be good enough to make the frame. (9) FIERTE D'OURVILLE is no star but tries hard and could pick up some scraps.

3. DOURASIE DU ROI - Good consistent campaigner whose form is on the up. Entrusted to Thomain for the first time and looks a player

4. EMPEREUR D'ORIVAL - Delicate but has nonetheless shown more since going barefoot. Lebourgeois on board for the first time and can complement his recent course and distance third

5. ECHO SELLOIS - Has demonstrated excellent aptitude for the specialty. Will be fully fit by now and makes his seasonal ridden debut with legitimate ambition

6. DALOMANE - Sanctioned at Caen last month when well backed but has shown a different side since going barefoot and can make amends

7. DJANGO CHAVIERE - Temperamental but capable type. Has just one race under his belt but still looks capable of playing an active role

8. DOUZE MAGIC - Winner of every race in which he was not sanctioned. Unseen since last November but will still have his supporters

9. ELIXIR DU PARC - Has failed to finish closer than fifth on any occasion this year and will need to raise his game

10. DEESSE DU LEVANT - Returns to the ridden code after a respectable effort under harness. Stays shod though and not an obvious choice

11. DELPHYSIA - Finished a good second at Lisieux nine days ago when barefoot for the first time. Same formula here and one to note

12. DORIAN DE BEAUM - Scored a double earlier in the season but less effective since. Can still get a look in though

13. ENABLE DREAM - A bit of a handful this year but has nothing to prove at this level and with application will have his chances

14. DUC QUICK - Has been in excellent shape this season. Won in style at Laval a fortnight back and even from the second line can double his money

15. EMMY JOYEUSE - Showed marked improvement at Vincennes last time out. Will appreciate these conditions and should not be too far off the mark

16. DORYLEE - Hardy sort in this branch of the business. Found somewhat wanting two weeks ago but gets a Raffin ride this time and should show improvement

Summary

(5) ECHO SELLOIS has made the frame in all three ridden races he has contested and after three preps under harness will be fully fit by now and looks competitive enough to open his account here. When applied (4) EMPEREUR D'ORIVAL is no slouch and has been entrusted to a top pilot for the occasion. (2) DARIUS DU LOIR has not once finished out of the first three when he can keep his action together and going barefoot for the first time can only enhance his already good prospects. (7) DJANGO CHAVIERE is another indisciplined trotter but he has bags of talent and if focused can get in on the action. (11) DELPHYSIA benefits from a good entry and can complement her recent Lisieux Class D second.

2. EAULYMPIK CEHERE - Sanctioned almost as often as not but has merit nonetheless. Pleased at Caen last time despite some poor luck in running and will justifiably generate significant interest

3. EPIQUE CORZEEN - Opened his account in a minor provincial event on turf last month. Failed to confirm a week later and in this company can expect to find the going tough

4. ELVIS MADJI - 17 starts and still chasing that elusive first win. Shoes back on and not a priority

5. ESPOIR D'AMOUR - Moderate sort that has failed to make the grade this year and is unlikely to shake things up

6. ETNA DU LUPIN - Clearly a quality individual but struggled in latest efforts. With application however he can make the first three

7. ELFIX DE NEEL - Acquits himself well for the most part but takes a big leap in category and a minor place chance at best

9. FIRST D'OCCAGNES - Consistently in the thick of things but has yet to win a race after nine starts

10. FAST DOMINO - Three wins from six runs so far including two at the venue. Has obvious claims

11. FORMIDABLE D'AZUR - Enjoyed a fruitful winter at the venue but off since mid-March and might need the race

12. FIRST IN LOVE - Has been convincing in all three starts this term and has every chance of winning this race

13. FAMILLE ROYALE - Has looked very promising during the winter but flopped on both starts since returning from the spell

Summary

(12) FIRST IN LOVE has been very consistent since his debut. He has also improved significantly since returning to competition this year and will take all the beating in this last race on the card. (10) FAST DOMINO has reassured at Cavaillon following three modest efforts earlier in the season. (2) FRENCH TURGOT just trashed his personal best at Salon de Provence last month and could be anything.
