CHALLENGES FACEDThe hydraulic mechanism which lifts the seat to a certain distance.The movement of the wheel chair.Considering practical situations, maintaining the center of gravity of wheel chair.

SolutionFor maintaining the COG, the base of the hydraulic cylinder should be heavy in order to prevent the wheel chair from flipping along with the rider.

USES OF THE ASSEMBLY15% of the world, an estimated 1 billion people live with disabilities. Eighty percent of the people living with disability live in the developing countries.

My project is to add an extension to the already available cheap wheel chairs in the developing as well as developed countries with simple mechanism which will enable disabled people to do basic daily work.

The exoskeleton and electric wheel chairs are extremely effective but costly. This project is an alternative to these extremely high priced technology.

It has a basic design with hydraulic mechanism to lift a person sitting on it.
