ing of the younger members of Congress." Innominating the Oklahoma congressman and theeleven others-six representatives and six senators-the magazine states the dozen are not neces-sarily those who should be appointed but theyare the caliber of men who might meet the re-quirements on the basis of qualifications, recordand intelligence . The proposed committee, For-tune states, would make a continuing, overallstudy of the war, confer with top officials, con-duct investigations, consult and advise the presi-dent .
