DESCRIPTION
Summer Camp Programs for children aged 2.5-13 in Yorba Linda, CA.
Citation preview
MAIN CAMPWeekly themes will keep summer fresh and exciting as campers enjoy on-campus activities such as swimming, the water park, go-karts, rock wall, and arts & crafts. This year, we have added “team challenges” and “investigations” to the mix! Field Trip Fridays will round out the week as we embark on new adventures including “A Day on the Ranch” and Kayaking!
There is no environment quite like Camp Heritage Oak.
Though summer excitement fills the
air and laughter emanates through
campus each day, the core values of Heritage
Oak still shine through. With an emphasis on
kindness and focus on character education,
campers will practice shaking hands daily, looking
others in the eye when speaking, and other
important life skills. These activities allow
children to feel safe, secure, and nurtured
while spending their precious summer
hours at Camp Heritage Oak.
SPECIALTY CAMPSIn addition to Main Camp, we will once again offer weekly Mini Camps and new academic courses to boost your child’s skills. This year, Specialty Camps will be offered in the morning AND in the afternoons to provide our families with the utmost flexibility. Specialty Camp descriptions begin on page 9. Be sure to look for the symbol to denote which of these camps have “academic” content.
1
This summer, in addition to daily academic time, our preschool and pre-kindergarten campers will inves-tigate different animals, cultures, decades, and more! The preschool and pre-kindergarten program provides a great balance of exploring, discovering, making friends, and learning new skills. Campers will cook up a storm while learning to mix, stir, pour, measure, and create delicious new recipes. Campers will also enjoy participating in art projects, music, and scavenger hunts as they meet friends and prepare for the new school year. Water play days will provide additional excitement as campers splash, pour, and have fun under the sun!
