Our First shipping container is leaving soonAnyone who has worked in distribution in any of the camps across Europe will tell you that the most requested, most highly sought after item is shoes.

Refugees have walked many miles fleeing conflict, this often includes getting wet in the sea. Shoes wear out very quickly in these conditions and children grown out of theirs even quicker. Can you imagine making that journey with holes in your shoes, wearing shoes that don't fit, or even with no shoes?

Our aim is to collect and send as may pairs of shoes particularly UK adult size 6-9.

Our First shipping container is leaving soonRefugee camps in Greece have really changed in the past year. No longer are people just passing through, on to their next destination. Many thousands of people are now living in camps on a semi permanent basis- some have been in Greece for a year or more.

A number of charities and volunteer groups are now turning their attention to helping the people in the camps both a) become more self sustaining and b) to relieve boredom and keep their minds occupied. We are working with our partners to collect and send all kinds of craft supplies to Greece to support these kinds of projects. Can you help?

Refugees living in government camps are often living in rural areas, isolated and rely on charitable aid. Rural areas in Greece often have little or no public transport. Walking miles to buy food, for refugees this is a daily task. As part of our charitable aims we want to contribute to refugees gaining independence and assist them to claim back their self-sufficiency. We are working with partners in Greece who are developing a Bike Project, with your help we want to contribute by collecting bikes, tools, bike spares, child bike seats etc.
