Historic Winchester House is set within half an acre of

grounds on the banks of the River Thames, just

upstream from Putney Bridge. This beautiful and

romantic building includes all you will need to create

your perfect civil ceremony and wedding reception.

Welcome guests with a drinks reception on the lawns or

inside in The Library, where guests can enjoy stunning

views of the garden and river. Conveniently located off

Putney High Street and just a stone's throw away from

Fulham, Winchester House is ideal for any special event.

Following your drinks reception, invite guests into the

elegant dining room to enjoy a sumptuous wedding

breakfast provided by our preferred caterer Create Food

& Party Design. Create is experienced in prestigious

weddings large and small, offering a huge range of

options from delicate canapés to food stalls, BBQs and

indulgent seated dinners. Create offers a range of

seasonal menus, as well as bespoke options should you

wish to design your own wedding menu.

There is no parking within the venue but there are plenty of spaces along the embankment.

Our nearest train station is Putney Bridge -

approximately 0.2 miles from Winchester House.

The 22 (Piccadilly to Putney Common) and 265

(Tolworth to Putney Station) go directly past the Club.

Putney Bridge and East Putney are both short walks

from the Winchester House.

Whilst we have no overnight accommodation at

Winchester House there are plenty of hotels local to the

venue.
