Our Events
CanWEA Operations and Maintenance Summit 29 - 30 January, 2020 - Toronto, ONThe O&M Summit is Canada’s largest Wind Energy Operations and Maintenance event. The program provides a platform for sharing industry leading solutions and the big challenges that wind farm owners, operators, service providers and wind turbine manufacturers are facing. CanWEA also engages with academia and wind turbine technicians in training. The program is developed by industry and engages the multifaceted O&M sector through formal presentations, round table discussions, committee meetings, startup pitches, and networking sessions. The atmosphere of the event has retained a “small world” feel since its inception and provides a unique opportunity for the closely connected industry professionals to reconnect. Attendees have continued to appreciate this environment and high concentration of decision makers, customers and experts.
CanWEA has seen growth in attendance every year for the 5 years since it started, with continued growth expected particularly with the trade show element of the event. In 2019 the event attracted more than 250 attendees. CanWEA continues to be creative with the sessions by inviting the industry at large in to CanWEA Committee meetings on topics like Health and Safety and Technician Training. In addition to these open forum style sessions, we have offered structured networking times that allow people to make new connections or go directly to existing contacts to do business. All this while having the trade show booths integrated into the meeting spaces for good exposure.

CanWEA Spring Forum21 April, 2020 - Montreal, QC This one day event will provide updates on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry in wind energy markets across Canada and will discuss the key actions required to move the industry forward in each of them. Concurrently, the event will host a ½ day summit for CEOs from the wind energy, solar energy and energy storage industries to discuss the disruptive changes occurring in electricity grids and markets across Canada and identify the priority areas for industry collaboration that can grow market opportunities for all.

CanWEA Golf Tournaments SAVE THE DATE: June 16, 2020 - Calgary, AB The CanWEA Golf Tournament provides unique opportunities to network and engage with colleagues and clients. Our August 2018 tournament in Alberta brought together 137 players and 19 sponsoring partners and we are on track for another great event in August 2019.

Exhibitor Table Exhibit Space - $2,000There are 17 exhibit spaces available positioned inside the plenary/meal room and 12 spaces available positioned in the foyer near the buffets and breaks.
Exhibitors will receive an 8’ x 8’ space, 6’ draped table, two chairs, pipe and drape space (blue drape). Space is carpeted. 2 complimentary conference registration/booth attendant passes. Please note that due to space restrictions exhibit spaces in the foyer are 8’ wide and 4’ deep.

Sponsorship Agreement Terms & Conditions
• Digital and printed materials will be supplied by the sponsoring company and are subject to CanWEA approval.
• CanWEA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the date or dates upon which the event is held or to cancel the event and shall not be liable in damages or otherwise by reason of any such change or cancellation, other than to refund in full any amounts paid by the Sponsor to CanWEA.
• The Sponsor is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, bylaws, ordinances, regulations, requirements, codes and standards, including those with respect to fire, safety, health and environmental matters and shall ensure that all equipment, materials and goods used by the Sponsor (if applicable) so comply.
• The Sponsor shall indemnify and hold harmless CanWEA from and against any loss, injury or damages whatsoever suffered by CanWEA as a result of the Sponsor’s participation in the event, including without limitation, any third party claim against CanWEA with respect to loss, injury or damage sustained or suffered by any other exhibitor or sponsor, the owner of the building, attendees of the conference, and their respective directors, officers, agents and employees.
• CANCELLATION POLICY: From date sponsorship confirmation to 45 days prior to event (January 29, 2020), 50% refund. If less than 45 days’ notice, no refund will be applied.

Sponsorship Agreement Terms & Conditions
• Digital and printed materials will be supplied by the sponsoring company and are subject to CanWEA approval.
• CanWEA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the date or dates upon which the event is held or to cancel the event and shall not be liable in damages or otherwise by reason of any such change or cancellation, other than to refund in full any amounts paid by the Sponsor to CanWEA.
• The Sponsor is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, bylaws, ordinances, regulations, requirements, codes and standards, including those with respect to fire, safety, health and environmental matters and shall ensure that all equipment, materials and goods used by the Sponsor (if applicable) so comply.
• The Sponsor shall indemnify and hold harmless CanWEA from and against any loss, injury or damages whatsoever suffered by CanWEA as a result of the Sponsor’s participation in the event, including without limitation, any third party claim against CanWEA with respect to loss, injury or damage sustained or suffered by any other exhibitor or sponsor, the owner of the building, attendees of the conference, and their respective directors, officers, agents and employees.
• CANCELLATION POLICY: From date sponsorship confirmation to 45 days prior to event (June 16, 2020), 50% refund. If less than 45 days’ notice, no refund will be applied.
