SER
Ser means to be refers to characteristics/conditions thatdo not change (permanent):
a.Who a person is or what a person is like
b. What something is or like
ejemplo: Teresa is a nervous person.
Teresa es una persona nerviosa.

c. Where a person or thing is fromejemplo:

d. Telling time

SER vs. ESTARam, is are*Note:
Ser = to be (soy, eres, es, somos, son) 1. Refers to characteristics/conditions that don’t tend to change. It describes what a person/thing is like.
Estar = to be (estoy, estás, está, estamos, están) 1. Refers to characteristics/conditions that can change.
2. Refers to where people/things are from.

3. Used to tell time.

Teresa is pretty and tall (traits)
