Dear Colleagues, Scientists and Friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I extend a warm welcome to all of the distinguished speakers and participants of the 18th Annual Cardiologists Conference which is to be held during June 19-21, 2017 in the Great Paris to illustrate the Academic Capital of France and the Cultural Capital of the Planet. Building on the success of the preceding meetings, the Conference will feature a highly interactive, stimulat-ing and multidisciplinary program including initiatives to address the entire patient-physician pathway and to look beyond the scientific topics alone. The world is becoming increasingly vulnerable to public health challenges and risks for cardiac diseases bursts. And the Conference provides a unique opportunity for university leaders, educators, clinicians, experts and scholars of higher education from all over the world to convene and share novel ideas on crucial issues and trends in the area of cardiology. From prevention through optimal care and, finally, to rehabilitation the whole range of cardiovascular disease will be presented with world-class faculty, researchers, and mentors as well as healthcare clinical professionals. The Conference has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest re-search developments in cardiovascular medicine, primarily in the areas of personalized cardiology and car-diac surgery. The major goal will be to demonstrate recent development in prevention and prophylaxis, car-diovascular risk prediction based on risk assessment procedures. The impact of the latest biomarker-based platforms to illustrate and to monitor subclinical and/or clinical atherosclerosis, myocarditis, aortic and arte-rial diseases will be discussed. The Conference will provide enough space for discussion, meetings and workshops in order to allow a close contact between speakers and visitors. Many distinguished cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and scientists will take part in this Congress. Papers will be presented in the form of plenary sessions, symposia and posters and will include superb scientific and clinical material that was carefully selected by the Review Committee. The Conference will provide the ideal forum to stimulate ideas and establish collaborations. We hope that you will enjoy the Conference and that your interaction with your colleagues from many differ-ent countries will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will be personally rewarding. We also hope and trust that you will enjoy your visit to the unique and exciting city of Paris!.

Dear Colleagues, Scientists and Friends

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I extend a warm welcome to all of the distinguished speakers and par-ticipants of the 18th Annual Cardiologists Conference which is to be held during June 19-21, 2017 in Paris to illustrate the Academic Capital of France. Building on the success of the preceding meetings, this Conference will feature a highly interactive, stimulating program on new well selected aspects of Cardiology to address the entire patient-physician pathway and to look beyond the scientific topics alone. The Conference will provide a unique opportunity for university leaders, educators, clinicians, experts and scholars of higher education from all over the world to convene and share novel ideas on crucial issues and trends in the area of cardiology. I am honored to have three talks on my most recent advances starting by an overview of advances in inherited cardiomyopathies, the explanation of the frequency of atrial fibrillation in ARVD extended to the mechanism of atrial fibrillation in the general population partially presented at the 16th World Cardiology Congress in Dubai, December 2016, and finally the first complete elucidation of the mechanism of Torsades de Pointes already published in an abstract form in JACC 2015. The Conference has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest re-search developments in cardiovascular medicine, primarily in the areas of personalized cardiology. The major goal will be to demonstrate recent development in prevention and prophylaxis, cardiovascular risk prediction based on risk assessment procedures. The impact of the latest biomarker-based platforms to illustrate and to monitor subclinical and/or clinical atherosclerosis, myocarditis, aortic and arterial diseases will be discussed. The Conference will provide enough space for discussion, meetings and workshops in order to allow a close contact between speakers and visitors.
