Year 10’s at Flinders University On Tuesday March 24th the Year 10 House leaders were invited to a Leadership Forum sponsored and hosted by Flinders University. The event went for the whole day and students got to see quite a bit of the University campus and the extensive building that is taking place to further develop the facilities available to current students. http://flindersfuturefocus.flinders.edu.au/major-projects/new-plaza-student-hub/

In the words of the students; “Today was…………….extremely inspiring, interesting, entertaining, educational, a unique opportunity, eye opening.”

The forum involved listening to a number of guest speakers and taking part in some team building activities. Again in the words of the students…….

”I liked…...it a lot, I’m very inspired, the magician, Vinh’s talk, the activities on the grass, the team activities, bonding with everyone, the inspirational speeches.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtQdjTd4Znw

Vinh Giang the most popular speaker spoke about being able to see things from a different perspective, ridding yourself of negative influences and following your dreams with passion.

Congratulations to all of the students who represented SHCS in a very positive manner and made the most of the wonderful opportunity that the day gave them.
