London. The building is home to the Institutions secretariat, its library, as

well as a suite o conerence rooms.

With members in over 100 countries, the Institution has developed a

global network o branches, divisions and representatives supporting the

membership.

The Institution undertakes a broad

range o technical activities whichkeeps it at the oreront o worldwide

structural engineering practice.

This ensures that structural engineers, wherever they are

and guidance rom within the proession. It also means that

legislators and code drating bodies regularly ask or comment

and input rom the Institution when developing building

regulations, standards and codes o practice.
