Beech-Nut has been dedicated to making nutritious, great-tasting, real food for babies for more than 75 years at their headquarters located in the heart of upstate New York.

Armstrong International has been responsible for the operation and maintenance of the utility systems at the Beech-Nut, Amsterdam, New York site since 2007. Armstrong oversees the following equipment:

• Two 75,000 lb/hr boilers and all associated support equipment, steam distribution system, and condensate return system

• Compressed air system including compressors, associated dryers, and distribution system

• Steam heated process hot water systems• Complete facility HVAC systems• Water softeners

The Beech-Nut facility is staffed with Armstrong utility experts that drive to the highest level of safety, efficiency, reliability and quality. The utility improvement focus centers on energy savings by identifying projects and operational improvements that drive utility usage down, lowering the overall cost of manufacturing at the facility.
