Cashmir Clothing is an apparel company that specializes in couture and semi-couture garments.

Molding designs around sophisticated looks with an edgy

twist, Cashmir combines varying cultures and styles to

create a truly diverse collection. This brand is a resort-

style collection, with ready-to-wear pieces for any

occasion, whether professional or artistic. Based in

Memphis, TN with New York roots, Cashmir has been

featured on celebrities and graced the runways of south’s

most prominent shows.

Inspiration for Cashmir is generated from the

artistic scene, pulling influence from both music and

painted works. A distinctive collection amongst local

and national designers, Cashmir has reinvented the

standards fashion branding in each new target launch

site. This brand is continuing to build awareness

through attention to detail and strategic marketing

efforts within the fashion industry. The concept of the

brand is lead by Michael Lopez, Founder and CEO of

Cashmir Clothing.

Michael Lopez was raised in Brooklyn, NY, surrounded by high fashion and concrete inspiration. He gained an interest in the fashion industry by altering garments for friends. Falling in love with the business behind fashion, Lopez began interning with Calvin Klein and eventually was featured in one of the designer’s shows. After gaining experience and an introduction into the international high fashion scene, Michael went on to develop plans for his own clothing line launch. Today, we know the fruits of his labor as Cashmir Clothing. Cashmir has presented at the Noir Fashion Show and was the featured designer for Rock the Runway with Sevyn Streeter.

With such a diverse background, it is no surprise that Mr. Lopez has incorporated his broad experiences and love of resort and global style into his couture and semi-couture clothing line. His impeccably tailored garments for Cashmir fill collections surpassing even the highest standards of quality and style, and have caught the attention of not only other celebrated designers, but performing artists as well. These artists have repeatedly sought Michael’s skill, requesting the creation of one of a kind pieces, and also for his expertise as a fashion stylist. He is now a published photographer and signed model, adding special insight to his role as lead designer.
