Day 1 - Travel to CatalinaDepart San Diego early morning and journey to Long Beach to board the Catalina Express for a 1-hour cruise to Avalon Harbor. Shortly after arrival, enjoy an included lunch at Steve’s Steakhouse featuring a panoramic view of the bay. After lunch embark on a 45-minute scenic tour of Avalon. Behold gorgeous views as your guide shares Catalina Island history and folklore from the comfort of an open-air tram. This 7.5-mile journey provides a comprehensive history of Catalina’s only city, Avalon. Following the tour, check in for a two-night stay at the beachfront Pavilion Hotel. This afternoon mingle with fellow travelers at the hotel’s complimentary wine and cheese social. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy dinner on your own and stroll Avalon, or simply relax at the hotel. [L]

Day 2 - Explore the IslandEnjoy a hot breakfast with a build-your-own omelet bar at the hotel followed by time on your own to explore Catalina. We recommend pre-booking any tours two to three weeks (but no more than 30 days) in advance.1. 3. Skyline Tour – This exciting narrated journey along thescenic “Skyline Drive” takes you 10 miles into CatalinaIsland’s interior. See spectacular vistas, deep canyons andquiet ocean coves.4. Inland Expedition – Travel 31 miles through the heart ofCatalina’s rugged interior. The memorable journey followsthe 1800s stagecoach route through Middle Ranch to seethe Native Plant Nursery and Bald Eagle habitat beforecontinuing to the beautiful windward side of the islandfor a view of Catalina’s unspoiled Pacific shoreline. On thescenic drive back you’ll be able to see bald eagles, wildbison, boar and mule deer that roam the island.5. Zipline Eco Tour – If you’re more adventurous, try anexotic eco-tour of the island by zipline. Day 3 - Return to San DiegoAfter an included breakfast at the hotel you’ll have much of the day free to explore. Browse quaint village boutiques, enjoy a famous bu�alo burger on the pier, or simply relax with a cool Mai Tai and a good book amid the scenic island beauty. Mid-afternoon, we’ll meet up at the Avalon boat landing to board the Catalina Express back to Long Beach. TERMS AND CONDITIONS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.• T elephone reservations must be followed by a

$100 per person deposit within 5 days.

• TRIP CANCELLATION PROTECTION: An optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) is available at a cost of $80-$115 per person. CPP allows you to cancel your reservation for any reason up until two hours before your scheduled departure time and receive a full refund (less the CPP fee), provided you notify DayTripper Tours by telephone of your change of plans. CPP does not pay for the single supplement of the remaining traveler when a traveling companion cancels from a double occupancy reservation.

• CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: For reservations not covered by the optional Cancellation Protection Plan, you must cancel your reservation by July 1, 2020 to receive a refund, transfer or credit. A $100 processing fee will be assessed. Unused portions of the tour are non-refundable. If DayTripper Tours cancels the tour you are entitled to a full refund without penalty.

• LIABILITY: DayTripper Tours acts solely as the agent in arranging for and coordinating various services of other companies to create tour packages, including transportation, tour escorts, hotels, restaurants, admission tickets and other services. The persons or companies engaged in conducting those services are not employees of DayTripper Tours, therefore, DayTripper Tours assumes no liability for any loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, expense or injury to you or any persons traveling with you owing to any act of default or negligence caused by any person or company engaged in providing those services, or by any strike, acts of Providence or other events beyond our control.
