REC is the leading vertically integrated player in the solar energy industry... More than 2400 employees work in REC’s worldwide organization. Headquartered in Sandvika, Norway and our production facilities include the silicon materials plants in Moses Lake, Washington and Butte, Montana in the USA. The wafer- cell and solar modules production sites are located in Tuas Singapore.

REC wafer and rec silicon are on a world scale major producers of poly-silicon and solar applications. Rec solar is a rapidly growing manufacturer of high performance solar cells and panels and participates in project development within certain segments of the PV market.

The production process within the REC group is based on the processing and implementation of silicon. This raw material is processed through several stages of quality solar panels. These products have a common mission: clean, renewable solar energy globally accessible and afford-able, with a view to a healthier climate.
