SECTION 00032ADVERTISEMENT FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS
Hudson I.S.D. will receive Competitive Sealed Proposals for a new multi-purpose facility until 2:00 PM on the 30th day of July, 2020. Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Hudson Administration office, 6735 Ted Trout Dr. Lufkin, Texas 75904.In awarding a contract the District will consider: purchase price; the reputation of the vendor and of the vendor’s goods and services; the quality of the vendor’s goods or services; the extent to which the goods or services meet the District’s needs; the vendor’s past relationship with the District; the vendor’s record of performing and completing warranty work in a timely manner; the ability of the vendor to meet the District’s schedule; the ability of the vendor to meet the specified insurance requirements; vendor’s references responses. Proposer shall include any information necessary for evaluation of these items. The Project consists of a new 14,306 square foot multipurpose facility, sidewalks, sitework, and storm drainage. The District will evaluate the criteria and their assigned points, which will be contained in the project documents to interested parties who respond to the published notice. Hudson I.S.D. reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the proposal.Proposals may be held by Hudson I.S.D. for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of Proposals for the purpose of reviewing the Proposals.All Bidders must have a completed AIA-A305, 1986, Contractor’s Qualification Statement on file with the Architect a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid date. The Architect does not provide this form.Proposal/Contract documents, including Drawings, Specifications, Criteria and Scoring are on file at the office of the Architect, Goodwin-Lasiter-Strong (GLS), 1609 South Chestnut, Suite 202, Lufkin, Texas 75901 and can be obtained electronically from the GLS website free of charge.
