Characteristics of SiliconeGreaseSilicone grease productsare made with a siliconefluid base oil blended withmaterials such as fillers, oiliness improvers andantioxidants. They havegreater thermo-oxidativestability and moistureresistance than commonmineral oil-based greases, and can be used in a widerrange of temperatures.Furthermore, siliconegreases are chemicallyinert, so they can be usedon almost any equipment.
Lubrication in LowTemperature Applications
G30L G30M G30HThe Shin-Etsu G30 seriesprovide superior lubrication particularly in lowtemperatures (-60C to +180C.)Available in three consistencies (grease hardness): Lis softest, followed by M and H.
Lubrication in High Temperature Applications
G40L G40M G40HG420The G40 series areideal for lubricationof sealed bearingsparticularly in hightemperatureapplications (-30Cto +200C.)Available in three consistencies (grease hardness): Lis softest, followed by M and H. G420 providessuperior lubrication in the very high temperature range(-30C to +250C.) The G40 series of greases meetsUS military MIL-L15719A specifications.
Solvent-resistant Lubrication
FG720 FG721 FG722The FG720 series is a fluorosilicone grease containing

flurosilicone fluid as the base oil and the fine powderof fluoro carbon resin. These greases have thecharacteristics of both silicone and fluorinecompounds, so they offer outstanding resistance toheat, solvents and other chemicals. They provideexcellent lubrication in high speed, high loadconditions.
Non-mineral Oil Lubrication For Rubbers
G411G411 is a non-mineral oil grease for rubberautomotive parts. It has excellent resistance to heatand cold. G411 has no adverse effects on syntheticrubber cups. It provides consistent lubrication andmeets JIS K 2228 specification.
Plastic Lubrication
G501G501 uses a special silicone fluid as the base oil. It isspeciallyformulated forlubrication andnoise reduction forblower bearingsand plastic parts. With G501, thereis a low incidence of stress cracks in polycarbonate(PC), polyacetal (POM), ABS and other plastics. Italso provides better lubrication for steel-on-steelapplications than conventional silicone greases.
Applications for G501
Sliding parts in air conditioners, ventilation fans, room heaters, andwashing machines for lubrication.
Gears in VTRs, fully automaticmechanism of servomotors forlubrication and noise elimination.
Plastic gears in printers, typewriters, and other OAmachines for lubrication and noiseelimination.
Gears in recreational goods suchas toys for lubrication andmaintenance
Lubrication for Sliding Parts
G6500G6500 provides good lubricating performance andthere is low incidence of stress cracks in plastic.Applying G6500 to sliding parts such as slide volumecontrols improves the feel and operation life. G6500 isrecommended for use in locations with relatively lowrevolution speeds.

G351 G352 G353Shin-Etsu Siliconegrease in theG330, G340 andG350 seriesprovide highadhesion andexhibit littlechange in torquevalues resulting from temperature changes. In a rangeof equipment, these greases are applied to slidingand rotating parts, where their high adhesive strengthprovides a superior damping effect. The G330 seriesare low adhesion greases (torque 5-35), whereas theG350 series are high adhesion (torque 40-50.) TheG340 series is especially formulated for consistenttorque forces in low temperature range.
G631 G632 G633The G630 series were developed for the bearings ofvariable resistors. These materials impart very stabletorque to bearings in resistors. They are also be usedfor damping.
Applications for G330, G340, G350 and G360 series
Eject damper mechanisms incassette decks
Bearing in rotary volume-controlresistors and rotary switches
Sliding parts in opticalinstruments
Sliding parts in volume controlresistors
Shock absorbers and aircylinders
