consortium in English and mathematics in the 2014-15 school year.
o Requires results from the high school assessments to be used for high school
graduation beginning with the class of 2019.
2. Urban School Turnaround InitiativeWA H 1812o Provides grant funds to the two lowest performing schools, in the same community.
o Each school receives $1 million to be spent within the corresponding year.
3. Approval of Online School Programs in Private SchoolsWA S 5496o Enhances access to online learning to private school students.
o Private School Advisory Committee (PSAC) to examine issues associated with the
private schools' state approval of online programs, and can recommend changes.
