KX-TA308/Panasonic KX-TA616/Panasonic KX-TA624 PBX (programming,
management, the remote programming and administration). With an
easy to understand graphic interface you can adjust your PBX
parameters. Certainly, you can solve the same problem by thumbing
through 500 pages of the Panasonic KX-TA308/Panasonic
KX-TA616/Panasonic KX-TA624 Installation Manual and using
proprietary phone, but our software will make your life a lot
easier. Almost all PBX features can be easily edited using simple
actions, known to all Windows users. The built-in installer's help

requirements:In order to use this program you will need a
PC-compatible computer using Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP. The
program cannot be used with the following operating systems:
Windows 3.1/3.11 Windows CE (i.e. at palm or handheld computers)
Apple computers Linux, BSD, UNIXAfter installation the program will
occupy about 1.5Mb of computer disk space.The computer requires at
least one free COM-port in order to connect to the KX-TA PBX. Most
modern computers have two such ports and are described as 'COM1'
and 'COM2' and are usually at the rear of the computer and may be 9
or 25 way male plug connectors. However, they could already be used
for a mouse or external modem. Be careful not to mix up the
COM-port (LPT1) that is used for connection to a printer. The
printer port is a 25 way plug as well but is of the 'female' type!
Attention!Only a PBX with Y581 version of the ROM is supported by
this program - older ones (Y501, Y551; but it is possible to update
the ROM chip) do not support programming via an external computer.
You can check the ROM version with the help of the 998 command
using a proprietary telephone.This program is not compatible with
the following PANASONIC PBX ranges: Panasonic KX-T family (for
example, Panasonic KX-T206 or Panasonic KX-T123211), Panasonic
KX-TD (the Panasonic KX-TD1232/Panasonic KX-TD816/Panasonic
KX-TD308/Panasonic KX-TD208 type) or the Panasonic KX-TA1232, which
is available in some countries. Other programs must be used for
these. Attention!The Panasonic KX-TA PBX can be operated in just
one of the two possible operation modes: regular operation, when it
is used for telephone communications; programming mode.Thus, care
should be exercised when putting the Panasonic KX-TA PBX into the
programming operation mode as this will interrupt all the current
calls currently taking place. It is only possible to get back to
the regular operation mode upon the completion of the programming
operation. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that any
programming of the Panasonic KX-TA PBX is performed only when
possible interruption to calls is at a minimum. However,
programming can last just several minutes and hence, the down time
of the Panasonic KX-TA PBX would be kept to a minimum.
