CENTUM VP Software Installation Type

1. New InstallationThe New Installation is an installation that is newly executed to a PC in which CENTUM VP Software has not been installed. The keycode is required for the installation.

2.Version Up Installation CS3000 ---> CENTUM VPIn the Version Up Installation, the CENTUM VP Software is installed in PC in which CS3000 Software has already beeninstalled.

The keycode of CENTUM VP is required for the installation.

3. Revision Up InstallationIn the Revision Up Installation, the revision improvement of PC in which CENTUM VP has already been installed is executed. The keycode is not required when there is no additional package.

4.Re-InstallationIn the Re-Installation, the Software of the same revision is installed for repair purpose or etc. in PC in which theCENTUM VP has already been installed. The keycode of CENTUM VP is not required.

5.Add InstallationThe Add Installation is an installation that is executed for package adding purpose in PC in which the CENTUMVP has already been installed. The Software Medium of the same revision as the keycode of additional packageis required

Operation and Monitoring Basic Function It keeps the HIS setup information. Optionally, back up or restore the following definition. ・Trend/historical data・Set up information of HIS utility・Voice Message definition and Media Data・Context Menu definition

LHS4200 Consolidated Historical Message Viewer The Data stored in the Historical integrated server can be inherited. It requires to re-configure the storage location in each HIS.

1.Backup and Restoration of long-term storage DataBack up the storage Data by using the archive function of Long-Term Data Archive Package.At this time, also back up the following file and return it to the same location after changing into CENTUM VP.\\<computer name>\LTDATA\LOG\BKHLogFile.txtIt can be referred as a Retrieve Data after the version up to the CENTUM VP.

2.Backup of Report definitionCopy the definition in each Report to other Medium by using the copy function of the Report Package.

3.Backup of Advanced Alarm Filter definitionBack up the filter definition by using the export function of Alarm Filter definition.

Backup the HIS related files such as "Voice message", "Trend", "Recipe/Control recipe" and so on.

The tokuchu files are located in the following folder. Please confirm to tokuchu responsible department whether tokuchu program can use these restored files after installation.

Restore CAMS data before setting CAMS to enable.Copy all backuped files to <CENTUM VP installation filder>.

When the “engineers' account files for referencing” specified by the Access Control utility is placed under the CS3000 installation folder, back up the files under the folder.

At that time, make a file called “EngPassword2.odc” writable. Restore the file after the installation of CENTUM VP, and reconfigure by the Access Control utility

4. FCS Data setting / Data of PICOT Acquisition Package

Back up the definition file in the following folder of this Package.<CS3000 installation folder>\his\users\save\BKUPICOT

After the installation of CENTUM VP, restore the backed up files to the following folder. <CENTUM VP installation folder>\his\users\save\BKUPICOT

Back up the definition file in the following folder of GSGW, and restore it after the Version Up.

Item definition information file:<CS3000 installation folder>\apcs\GPLS\BKEOPCITEMDef.csv

After the installation finished,restore these back up datato the appropriated location

6. CENTUM VP requires the following software..Net Framework 3.0MSXML 6.0 SP1When the above software has not been installed in , following window popped up.

7. Without setting the keycode FDC to the Floppy diskdrive, the following dialog is displayed.

8. Specify the folder path in which the keycode file exists.

9. “Welcome to the Install Shield Wizard for YOKOGAWA CENTUM VP”dialog is displayed.

Click “Next“ Button

This training keycode file should be located under “C” drive directly.

1.The name of TOP folder in which old CS3000 has been installed is changed to the name with “_bak”

2. After the installation of CENTUM VP, CENTUMVP folder is generated.

3. Please moved the project database prepared by ETC to the following location. (install folder)\CENTUMVP\eng\bkproject\VP_PJT

“All programs” in the start menu -> “YOKOGAWA CENTUM”, and activate “Project's Attribution Utility”Register the project as ”Default Project” into the project list.

4. Go through “All programs” in the start menu -> “YOKOGAWA CENTUM”, and activate “System View”.Revise project information window comes.

5. After the data base has been converted to R4.01 version , below guideline window appears. This window appears when CS3000 HIS has registered.

All HIS database can be converted by usingHIS Database Conversion Tool from Tools menu / HIS Database Conversion Tool

CS3000 graphic file can be converted to VP Graphic file by using Graphic File Converter tool , which launch fromYOKOGAWA CENTUM / Graphic File Converter

Setting IT Security

1.Select the security type appropriate to the IT operation mode,and click "Next" button.

Select this when configuring IT Security in each PC without using the Windows domain controller. The user account will be managed in each PC.

Select this when managing the user and group of the account by the Windows domain controller. It is necessary to create the group and user account by the domain controller before conducting this Setting Security.

Apply this Setting Security when connecting to other systems such as PRM, ProSafe-RS with no Security, or PC component of old revision CS3000.

When the Security type is the Windows domain environment, the user account is to be created by the Windows domain controller. If necessary, by the Windows domain controller, create a user such as the one with the Operation and Monitoring authority, the one with the Engineering privilege, or the one with the privilege of OPC connection.

An account name of “CENTUM” is automatically created, and the password has been set to “Yokogawa1” by the default.Select the password of “CENTUM” account for “Password never expires”.Because the download to HIS, Sequence table, or status display of SFC will not operate properly if the password is expired.

Uninstallation of CENTUM VP

1.The Uninstallation of CETUM VP Software can be conductedfrom “Add or Remove Programs”. Select “Remove”

2. To manually delete the files which were not deleted by the Uninstallation operation, delete all files placed by using explorer.
