CHAMPIONSHIP NEWSLETTER NO 2 - 2017 CAMBRIAN RALLY SNOW STOPS PLAY! Following the decision yesterday of the organisers of the Cambrian Rally to abandon the event after the first stage for safety reasons, the BTRDA Rally Series Committee would like to say that they fully support that difficult decision . We would also like to clarify to all competitors in the BTRDA Rally Series that, as per article 3 of the BTRDA Rally Series General Regulations, the series will now consist of SEVEN rounds with the best FIVE scores to count. This means that the Malcolm Wilson Rally on 11 th March, just under 4 weeks away, will be the first points scoring round of the BTRDA Rally Series 2017. The event will include iconic stages such as Grizedale North and South and Greystoke. Entries are being accepted now at www.malcolmwilson.co.uk so don’t miss out on the first opportunity to score points. It was great to see so many registrations to the Championship both before and at signing-on for the Cambrian Rally. The 2017 season looks like being a great, competitive one for us all. We look forward to seeing you in Cumbria in March.
