Experience & Certifications

What is the difference between managing change, and leading change?Project Management and Change Management offer tools, processes and techniques to support the management of change. Methodology gets tasks done, but it doesn't help people change. You can deliver the best computer system ever made that nobody uses.

Change Leadership is articulating a vision for the future that mobilizes people who unite for change, putting a fire in their belly that ignites the whole change process in your organization.

Because organizations don't change, people change organizations. You must affect people in order to realize the value and benefit of the most important change initiatives in your organization. Viewing Change Leadership as a "soft skill" or "optional" misses the fact that people are the most critical ingredient in a project’s success.

Sustainable change happens when you are able to lead change so the people live and enact the change long after the tools, processes, and techniques are forgotten.

During change, people will not remember the methods, they will remember the message, and how you made them feel. That's what creates sustainability, growth, and innovation inside of change.
