Chaperon Responsibilities:

The appointed chaperon(s) will be responsible for the (number of students ) students representing the (local chapter name) Chapter of Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) at the BDPA National Conference.

The chaperons must assure that each student has obtained the proper signed permission from their parents or guardians to participate in the National Computer Competition events. In addition, they must have a copy of all related permission forms with them during the stay in Orlando, Florida.

One chaperon of each respective team will be required to attend any event in which the students are attending, inside and outside of the hotel, unless relieved by another volunteering BDPA member(s). No student will be allowed from the hotel premises without a designated chaperon. No student should be allowed to attend any function within the hotel without permission of a chaperon. Chaperon is required to accompany student at all times while in the hotel premises.

The chaperons will be responsible for assuring that the students follow all rules, requirements and procedures of the BDPA National and the (local chapter name) BDPA Chapter.

The chaperons will have their transportation, lodging expenses and meals paid for by the (local chapter name) BDPA Chapter.

A maximum of two chaperones or coordinators will be allowed to register for a full conference package at the price of $ 200.00 at their own expense.

Each student will be required to keep track of all meal and other expenses during their stay at the BDPA National Conference. Each student has a limit of (per diem) dollars per day for meals. They will be responsible for any room service items or other expenses incurred with or without the approval of a chaperon.

Each student will have a (if applicable $$) phone card to pay for telephone calls.

Each chaperon will be responsible for documenting expenses (receipts) incurred during the extent of the visit to Orlando, Florida. from August 12th thru August 16th.
