Teeth

All primary teeth are in early in the 3rd year.

Does heredity and environment affect teeth quality? YESTooth Decay: Caused by harmful bacteria in the mouth

that forms Plaque --- the sticky, colorless film on the teeth.

10-25% of 2 year olds and 60% of 3 year olds have tooth decay

Tooth brushing should begin around 18 months or when enough teeth are in to brush.

Large (Gross) Motor Skills

Daily activities that require large muscles

What games and types of play improve large muscle groups.

Involves their finer muscles of the wrists, fingers, ankles
