Can Christians have Spirits? Salvation How Can God Live in Us if We Have Spirits? Purifying Sins Origins Results of Sin Vision Story Sin and Sickness Pre-Covenant The Covenant

CAN CHRISTIANS HAVE SPIRITS?

This is a question many believers are asking. The Bible says:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 KJV

The battleground for the believer is in the mind and the fiery arrows of the enemy come in the form of thoughts, emotions, and demonstrations. When we dwell on those thoughts and don't get rid of them, they get a foothold in our lives. A foothold is defined as, “A firm or secure position, providing a base for further advancement.”3 The negative or evil thoughts come from spirits.

“In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows [thoughts, emotions, and demonstrations -AP] of the evil one.” Ephesians 6:16 N I V

These negative or evil thoughts are spirits talking to you and are like seeds of evil that can take root when given a foothold. A foothold will lead to a root, as in a plant, described here in Hebrews as a bitter root.

“See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” Hebrews 12:15 N I V

The Apostle Paul speaking to the Corinthians told them to forgive the one who had sinned lest Satan take advantage of them through unforgiveness. That is one of the biggest ways that the enemy gets a foothold in our lives and sin is conceived.

“If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” 2 Corinthians 2:10-11 N I V

The Holy Spirit brings forth good fruit, but the enemy brings forth bad fruit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 N I V

When Jesus talks about defilement coming out of the mouth of man, He is talking about things that cause bad fruit. He is talking about man speaking and acting in a defiled manner. Evil thoughts, speech, and actions are motivated by evil spirits.

“But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man ‘unclean.’ For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what make a man ‘unclean’; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him ‘unclean.’” Matthew 15:18-20 N I V

It is evident that Jesus is saying that people have all sorts of spirits in their heart, that is, inside us. Paul speaks of himself, a Christian, as having sin or spirits within.

“So now it is no more I that do it, but sin [spirits-AP] which dwells in me.” Romans 7:17 NASB

With this statement from Paul it is clear that he recognized that there were things that he was doing that came from the evil one, acknowledging that Christians have sin [spirits] within.

“…for I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing.” Romans 7:18-19 N I V

That would explain why good Christian people can have all sorts of thoughts and behavior problems just like Paul. These thoughts and actions would not be approved of by Christ. Paul points out in Ephesians that these people were sealed with the Holy Spirit, yet they still had sin or spirits within; as we know only those that are saved have the Holy Spirit. If they were not within, we would not have to get rid of them; and again he sheds light on the darkness within with this list of spirits that are within:

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:30-32 N I V

Here Paul is speaking to people who are saved and filled with the Holy Ghost who he was telling to get rid of bitterness, rage, anger, brawling, slander, and malice, which are all spirits. Spirits are known by their character; that is, by how they express or manifest themselves in and thru people. Anyone can clearly see “rage” when it manifests, stepping up to the microphone, so to speak, to be heard. We have heard Christian people confess they do not know why they become so angry under certain circumstances. “It just overtakes me. It’s like I can’t control myself,” they will say. Jesus himself rebuked Peter when He said that Peter was thinking human thoughts, which He identified as Satan’s or evil thoughts:

"Get behind me, Satan, because you're not thinking God's thoughts but human thoughts!" Mark 8:33 N I V

And in Acts 5:3, Peter said to Ananias and Sapphira, who were saved: “How is it Satan has so filled your heart?” Acts 5:3 N I V

Page 3: Chapter 2 · get rid of them, they get a foothold in our lives. A foothold is defined as, “A firm or secure position, providing a base for further advancement.”3 The negative

These were spirit-filled, “tongue-talking” members of the early church. Simon was a believer and had been baptized, but was still captive to sin or the evil within. When he offered money to Peter and John inappropriately for the gift of imparting the Holy Spirit, Peter exclaimed:

“Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps He will forgive you having such a thought in your heart. For I see you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.” Acts 8:22- 23 N I V

Peter, speaking to God’s elect in the early church, tells them to get rid of the evil within.

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God’s elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood:” 1 Peter 1:1-2 N I V

“Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” 1 Peter 2:1-3 N I V

Christians do have spirits and since we have them, we need to get them gone or in other words we need to cast them out. The process described in this book will explain exactly how to get rid of the sin within. This is God’s further explanation of the process to complete the salvation He started with the life of Jesus Christ and in the first eleven chapters of Revelation, the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Word of God.

SALVATION

Salvation, according to Vines Dictionary, 4 means "deliverance, preservation." Salvation is deliverance which means that when a person gets saved, God sovereignly delivers him of some of his sin or spirits. Some people believe that when you get saved God forgives all of your sins at that time but if we look at Scripture closely we will find that is not the case. God will forgive all our sins but just not all at one time. He does not COUNT our sins against us but He works with us to get rid of that sin. Sin is in the form of evil spirits and He helps us get rid of those evil spirits that cause us to sin as we cast them out with this process.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins [AS we confess them specifically using this process-AP] and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 N I V “that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, NOT COUNTING people's sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:19 N I V

God has a two-step process of salvation. First, God forgives our prior sins making us alive to Him at which point He enters us. In the second step, now that we are alive to God and He is now within, He can help us to deal with the sin within. But if you get saved and then sin again you are in danger of His administered discipline which is much more severe than dealing with the sin within with this process.

“God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of His blood—to

be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—“Romans 3:25 N I V

God forgives our sin a little at a time, for example, if a drunkard who beats his wife gets saved, God can deliver him of his addiction to alcohol and his sin or spirits of bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment, retaliation, anger, hatred, violence, murder or suicide, repeat and some of the hurts of the past. These are names of sins or spirits; but as you know if you know anyone like this, the person still has a lot of other problems or sin [spirits]. Although he is a greatly changed person, he still needs more salvation [deliverance] for we are saved and being saved and we shall be saved.

“So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling;” Philippians 2:12 NASB “For the Word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 NASB

“For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” Romans 5:10 NASB

“for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:9 N I V

“Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.” Hebrews 7:25 N I V

To follow this train of thought a person needs to follow on with his salvation or deliverance to get the rest of his sins or spirits gone; so that in time with perseverance, a person can come to the place of no spot [no sin or spirits and the works that the evil spirits cause us to do] or wrinkle [a differing of opinion with God] or other things [discrepancies that God will explain as you work through the process]. Spots are spirits and the works of the evil one. Christ is coming for a church without these things; we have a lot of work to do to prepare!

“The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8 NASB

“…that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” Ephesians 5:27 NASB

We are co-workers with God as we use this process of deliverance. As we cast spirits out, we are forgiving that person. As Jesus said anyone born of woman has the authority to forgive sins. That is to do deliverance for them. When you cast out spirits that causes a specific sin, you are forgiving that sin. Salvation is deliverance and this is the process of complete salvation or deliverance.

“But I want you to know that the Son of Man [that is all people born of woman that are saved-AP] has authority on earth to forgive sins." So he said to the man, I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” Mark 2:10-11 N I V

“For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9 N I V

Hidden Manna “Light is understanding.” God

HOW CAN GOD LIVE IN US IF WE HAVE SPIRITS? Where does God reside in us? How can God live in us with spirits? Where do the evil spirits reside in us? These questions I will endeavor to answer here with God’s help. Back in 2006 God asked me a question: “Who are you to Me?” My spirit answered: “I am the habitat of the Lord God Almighty; I am secure in Him; I am His friend and confidant; in Him I live and move and have my being.” As I knew for sure my mind could not come up with this answer, I immediately knew that it was my spirit that had this understanding. It was not until 2012, that God brought to my attention what He had said back in 2006. It was my spirit that said: “I am the habitat of the Lord God Almighty.” While writing this book and going over this chapter again, He showed me where His Spirit resides in people. For one, His Spirit resides in our spirit.

“The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.” Romans 8:16 N I V “The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one's inmost being.” Proverbs 20:27 N I V

The spirit and body are two very different things. To prove this, God allowed me to see a demonstration of this. While up in the mountains of Pennsylvania, I was ministering to someone and then walked into the living room while still in the Spirit. As I entered the living room, I saw my friend about to sit down in a chair. What I saw next amazed me! As I looked at my friend, I saw his body and his spirit which were separate at this point. His spirit looked just like him except I could see through his spirit. His body was sitting down and then his spirit sat down in him; they were and are separate things. This explains how when our body dies, our spirit goes to be with the Lord; our spirit lives forever.

Secondly, His Spirit also resides in our heart.

“…set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.” 2 Corinthians 1:22 N I V

The Word of God is a part of God and resides in our hearts.

“I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psalms 119:11 N I V

According to Jesus evil resides in our hearts. “For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” Mark 7:21-23 N I V

We are the temple of God and God dwells with us making us part of a heavenly realm.

Page 6: Chapter 2 · get rid of them, they get a foothold in our lives. A foothold is defined as, “A firm or secure position, providing a base for further advancement.”3 The negative

Therefore the Scripture is true of us in that there are spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

“Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 N I V

“Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21 KJV

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12 N I V

Spirits live in our spirits, souls, and bodies which all together make up our heart; and in time they cause death.

“May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be KEPT blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ [God’s anointed Word in the flesh of man-AP].” 1 Thessalonians 5:23 N I V

“Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1 KJV

“Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.” Psalms 32:2 N I V

Does God live in us with spirits? God lives in our spirit, soul, and bodies (our hearts) as do the evil spirits.

“If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” Psalms 139:8 KJV

God has created all that was created and He dwells in all that He has created.

“Though they dig into hell, thence shall Mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:” Amos 9:2 KJV

“…he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name [nature-AP].” Revelation 14:10-11 NASB

God is everywhere even in our minds as He hears us when we pray in our minds without even a spoken word.

“You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I'm far away.” Psalms 139:2 NLT "But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain You. How much less this temple I have built!” 1 Kings 8:27 N I V

God has created all that was created and that includes evil which are God’s tools to help refine us as we fight our way through this army. We get stronger and healthier spiritually as we fight the enemy of our souls. With God’s help we change loss into victory, fear and worry into peace, and loneliness into unity. God’s ways are higher than our ways. We do not think like Him until we put on the mind of Christ, one thought at a time, as we fight our way through this army of evil.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust [evil spirits of accusation and condemnation that devour what the palmerworm leaves-AP] hath eaten, the cankerworm [evil spirits that devour-AP], and the caterpillar [evil spirits that devour what the cankerworm leaves-AP], and the palmerworm [evil spirits of uncaring that devour-AP], My great army which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25 KJV “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7 KJV

These locust, cankerworm, caterpillar, and palmerworms are all symbols for evil spirits. God works everything to our good including the evil in our lives.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 N I V

Our hearts are made up of our spirit, soul, and our bodies. The soul consists of the mind, the will, and the emotions and all of this affects our bodies. Because the evil spirits affect our bodies they cause disease and eventually death.

“Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” James 1:15 N I V

When we get saved God begins to transform our lives, little by little, into the likeness of Christ as He removes the evil within and we center our lives on God. “Sanctification is the continuing work of God in the life of a believer. It is progressive work in which we become more and more free from sin and like Christ. In short, our actual lives become increasingly conformed with our legal status before God.” (Lee Ingram)

PURIFYING So what is it we need to do? We need to get the sin out to go on to a place of no spot or wrinkle or other thing, putting on the mind of Christ as we go. As we go through the process that God has shown us, we ask God to take out spirits and He puts Himself in; thus you have more of God as you go along making your relationship better and better. In reality, we are appropriating more and more of the mind of Christ as the darkness comes out and His light comes in. We are like a huge glass vase full of black and white marbles; as the black ones (spirits and/or curses) get taken out, God replaces them with more white marbles (the nature, characteristics and the thinking of God: the mind of Christ.) until we are completely white. The Scriptures tell us we are to purify ourselves.

“And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” 1 John 3:3: NASB

Page 8: Chapter 2 · get rid of them, they get a foothold in our lives. A foothold is defined as, “A firm or secure position, providing a base for further advancement.”3 The negative

"Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” Revelation 19:7-8 NASB

This also brings us to a place of maturity as talked about in Hebrews:

“But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews 5:14 N I V

In the process we will learn to discern good from evil by constantly bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV

Hidden Manna “Refusal of a gift from God limits you.” God

SINS ORIGIN

Now the question comes: Where did the sins come from in our lives? First, Adam sinned and therefore all have sinned since then.

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man [Adam-AP], and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—“ Romans 5:12 N I V

David reiterates this for us:

“Surely, I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.” Psalm 51:5 N I V

And Moses before him said:

“The LORD is slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of fathers on children to the third and the fourth generations.” Numbers 14:18 NASB

Curses are not done away with until the events in Revelation have been fulfilled; and they have not been yet. The events in Revelation are fulfilled on an individual basis as we complete our salvation. While Christ became the curse for us, we still have to appropriate what He has done in our own lives.

“…in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.” Revelation 22:2-4 NASB

As we can see we are still under curses. It says that we need His name on our foreheads. This

Page 9: Chapter 2 · get rid of them, they get a foothold in our lives. A foothold is defined as, “A firm or secure position, providing a base for further advancement.”3 The negative

is referring to the nature or character of Christ in our lives to the extent that we are the personification of Christ in the flesh. For we are to be in reality the body of Christ, not in part but in completeness, and that will take us to a place of no spot, or wrinkle, or other thing. This being a place where Christ Himself walked, doing nothing but what He heard and saw the Father do. This is the place by God’s grace we will attain as we persevere.

Hidden Manna “Be thoughtful or be neglectful.” God

RESULTS OF SIN Now that we know we are born in sin with the sin of our fathers in us to the third and fourth generation, we can look at what causes more sin to be added to us. The sins of the mother are included as man and woman have become one flesh. When the man is mentioned in Scripture most of the time it is referring to the woman also; therefore, by mentioning the father, the mother is automatically a part of the equation. Curses are passed down from the father and the mother.

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24 NASB

God has given me a demonstration of curses passing down from the mother, as well, in the vision story below.

Vision Story

In 2009 I had a vision of a motor home pulling over in front of me in a “class c” motor home as I was walking down the sidewalk. The understanding that I received from God was that the Holy Spirit had come to visit me. As I was already filled with the Holy Spirit, and thought on this, God gave me the understanding that the Holy Spirit had come upon me even though He was within me. I was sandwiched between two layers of the Holy Spirit. While the Holy Spirit was visiting me He helped me to fix many things. On one occasion He took me back in Spirit to my mother’s womb. He showed me something that had happened to her that had affected me. Next He took me back into my mother’s childhood. Over the years, I had a recurring train of thought that was disturbing and I could never figure out where it came from. While I was back in my mother’s youth, He gave me the understanding of some events that had happened to her repeatedly and the emotions that arose because of them. I then understood the train of thought that I was having, I had inherited it [a “train of thought” curse] from my mother. He then removed that “train of thought curse” for me. He gave me the understanding that because of this trauma to my mother, it had changed two places on my RNA [transmits genetic information transcribed from the DNA].5 I believe it was at that time that He healed those two places. All of that was said to show that the sins of the mother are passed down to the generations that follow, as well as the father’s sins. This visit from the Holy Spirit was shown to me to be an example of the former rain [anointing of the Holy Spirit that comes upon you]; where he was on the outside of me, as was testified of with Jesus and in the Old Testament. This is a tool that we can ask God to do for us as God is no respecter of persons.

Page 10: Chapter 2 · get rid of them, they get a foothold in our lives. A foothold is defined as, “A firm or secure position, providing a base for further advancement.”3 The negative

~ 59 ~

“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth is prepared as the morning [the dawning of understanding-AP]; and He shall come unto us as the rain [anointing of the Holy Spirit -AP], as the latter [anointing of the Holy Spirit upon you-AP] and former rain [anointing of the Holy Spirit in you-AP] unto the earth [man-AP].” Hosea 6:3 KJV “and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are My Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased." Luke 3:22 N I V "Here is My servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations.” Matthew 12:18 N I V “When they arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he joined in their prophesying.” 1 Samuel 10:10 N I V

My being filled with the Holy Spirit is an example of the latter rain [the anointing of the indwelling Holy Spirit]. A lot gets accomplished when the Holy Spirit comes upon you while you are already filled with the Holy Spirit. He can go into deeper places for healing with you when this occurs. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit and His Spirit comes upon you, you may move in the Spirit with signs, wonders, and miracles. Jesus, as always, and the early apostles were the examples of being full of the Holy Spirit.

“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the desert,” Luke 4:1 N I V “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:4 N I V

Now back to the “Results of Sin:” We have the words we speak to ourselves or others which can be curses [which are groups of spirits like a gang with one common goal to kill, steal, and destroy our lives]. We must watch our words; speak blessings.

“I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life [fresh, strong, lively, and merry], that you and your descendants may live.” Deuteronomy 30:19 A M P

Sin, as Jesus said, resides in our hearts causing us to think and then speak curses and do all manner of sin as we align with that evil.

“That which proceeds out of the man that is what defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.” Mark 7:20-23 NASB

When sin is full grown it produces death. “Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” James 1:15 N I V

Because of sin in the form of evil spirits within man, he dies. The remedy for sin, and therefore disease and eventually death, is forgiveness, deliverance, and being changed into His likeness, which is brought on by the knowledge of God and obedience to the processes of God to completion.

“But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. So He said to the paralyzed man, I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” Luke 5:24 N IV

SIN AND SICKNESS Understanding that sin is in our hearts we need to understand the repercussions of that state.

“The LORD will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking Him. The LORD will plague you with diseases until He has destroyed you from the land [your body-AP] you are entering to possess. The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish.” Deuteronomy 28:20-23 N I V

This is saying that because of the curses we have, which are groups of spirits [like a gang] or sins, we get different diseases or illnesses; therefore, when we get enough sin out, healings that last are available to a greater extent. Also as you know, spirits like fear, nervousness, bitterness, recluse and the like make life miserable, things that Christians and non-Christians alike suffer. All have sin, some are born again; removing negatives such as the above start one on the road to a better relationship with God. It pays to be faithful with this process because when you are not heading toward God, you are heading toward Satan; there is no neutral or gray area. God said He would prefer we were hot [heading toward God] or cold [heading toward Satan] because if we are lukewarm [hearing God but not obeying Him], He will spit us out of His mouth, in other words, He will bring judgment on you.

“So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.” Revelation 3:16 NASB “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as My priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.” Hosea 4:6 NASB “Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6 N I V

PRE-COVENANT The process that God has shown us is designed to purify the body of Christ and to help the prospective Bride prepare herself for becoming one with the groom. God is a covenant God.

Recently He brought it to our attention that we can make covenants or agreements with Him. With this understanding He began teaching us a simplified way of doing deliverance. So simple is this process that it is designed by God to be used by individuals for themselves, and for others, as an intercessory tool; a weapon of our warfare to fight the enemy we cannot always easily see. It is an effective and powerful weapon to affect change in our life for good. We do not fight battles as the world does in the natural but by the Spirit.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7 N I V “For though we live in the world we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.” 2 Corinthians 10: 4-5 N I V

There are several components to this agreement, so we will give a brief description of the parts that make up what we call “The Agreement with God”. We sometimes affectionately refer to it as the “Please and Thank You” as well.

THE COVENANT The basic idea behind a covenant or an agreement with God is to describe what the responsibilities are of each of the parties involved. The agreement is the appropriation of what was done by Jesus’ life, His death on the cross, His resurrection and after His ascension to His Father. It is like salvation; that is, we were not saved until we asked Christ into our hearts and lives and then we began appropriating what was done at the time of His life, crucifixion, resurrection, and after His ascension. Our portion in this agreement is to name the spirits to be cast out and the name of the person{s} that they are to be cast out of with a simple “please and thank you” or “go” at the end. By doing this simple prayer you can rid yourself and others of whatever spirits are named. Our portion also entails that we trust God that He will do what this covenant lays out as we enter into it. This covenant was given by God and is very specific in the details. One should not alter the use of the tools in any way as that will change the effectiveness of them. A demonstration of this was when one-half of a sentence was lost while transferring documents back and forth between my wife and I in the section on “intensify” described in the next chapter. After going to sleep I was awakened suddenly with very intense itching being caused by spirits. I asked God what was going on and He said to “check out the ‘intensify’ section.” I was intrigued as I had just finished this section. I got up and checked on it and found that part of a sentence was missing. God then completed the sentence for me again and the itching completely stopped. While this was an example of what can happen if someone omits a part, adding or subtracting words to the tools or the agreement dilutes their effectiveness. As this is a detailed explanation of the book of Revelation God said to add this WARNING here. Revelation 22:18-19 N I V

v. 18 “I warn everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.

If anyone who hears the Words of this process and adds anything to them God will add to that

person the demonic plagues described in this writing by God.

v. 19 “And if anyone takes Words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

If anyone takes Words away from this process which is a prophecy of current and coming events, God will take away their share in the tree of life, therefore the ability to be a part of God’s Bride and government described in this writing until they accept and walk it as it is written. This book should be worked in the order that it is in. It has a progressive anointing on it to help work it. Someone wanted to be taught a tool in the upper chapters but God said, “No, It is in layers and needs to be gone through in order.” This is like going to school; you must begin in first grade not high school. God wants people to progress through this process doing it in order. As you are faithful in doing each chapter as described you graduate to the next level or chapter. There is a lot to learn but as you persevere you will find many good changes.

“Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40 KJV
