At Charles Christianson we will guide you through a simple process from discovering the beginnings of yourideas to seeing your new room complete. As we are fully aware, "Design" is the key. The simple process that weguide you through allows the design of your new room to develop by careful consultation each step of the way.

The drawing, detail, specification and our quotation evolves until it is precise and ready for your approval.

Below are the simple stages of the process so you know what to expect from the first meeting to the very laststage of the project.

STAGE ONEThe first step will often be to gather information from you about your existing home, this is essential in ensuringthat the design is practical and complimentary. You will be interested to have guidance on the likely cost of theproject ensuring you are comfortable from the outset, we achieve this by providing you with a realistic budgetfor your chosen project.

STAGE TWOA simple "Hand Drawn" design at the early stage in pencil is found to be invaluable, later we will present detaileddrawings often watercoloured by our in-house artist. Cutting edge technology is also now allowing our designersto present 3 Dimensional Imaging to illustrate your design in photographic form, even before it is a reality.

STAGE THREEWe take care of the complete Planning Application process, Listed Building consents and applications withinConservation Areas, where Full Planning Consent is not considered necessary we make sure that PermittedDevelopment Rights are upheld by discussion of your plans with your Local Authority Planning Officer.

After careful consultation, your Project Manager will deal personally with all the aspects of the building processto completion, often overseeing coinciding projects like a new kitchen installation on your behalf.
