Balancing tall, droopy, colorful hats and wearing their most imaginative Seuss inspired attire, Highland View faculty and staff captured the heart, humor, and charm of Dr. Seuss and his stories in celebration of his birthday. Ms. Dardarian began the celebration by reading Highland View’s favorite tongue twister, Fox in Socks over the loud speaker, the day before the celebration. Classroom teachers turned the pages of their copies of the book, so that students could enjoy Dr. Seuss’s delightful artwork as they listened to Ms. Dardarian’s lively reading. Guest readers from the Highland View community visited classes and read aloud popular Dr. Seuss books as well as their personal favorite stories.
