1/2 day city tour with Table Mountain
continue for a non alcoholic sundowner at Signal Hill
overnight in Queen Victoria Hotel in a Deluxe room on a BB basis
What sets the Queen Victoria Hotel apart from other hotels at the world-renowned V&A Waterfront is undoubtedly its position.
Located within a precinct of heritage buildings along Portswood Road – a main artery leading to and from the Waterfront – the
Queen Victoria Hotel gives you a sense of being within the Waterfront’s vicinity but removed from the frenetic pace of it.
The advantage of this is that, while staying at the Queen Victoria Hotel, you have easy access to the Waterfront – the shopping
precincts, the harbour, the restaurants and other must-see attractions – yet you are positioned away from it, in a relaxed, secluded
enclave that overlooks majestic Table Mountain, the City Bowl, Cape Town Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean.
Luxury and sophistication emanate through to the 3 suites and 32 luxury rooms, each one individually designed and curated. With
a consistent ambience of glamorous repose, most of the suites have panoramic views of either Table Mountain or Cape Town
Harbour, and all of them have a fully stocked private mini bar and Charlotte Rhys pamper accessories.
The attention to detail is also something to behold, from the customised wallpaper uniquely designed with a cameo portrait of
Queen Victoria and the laser-cut, paper-on-paper artwork of local fynbos to the hotel’s very own designer fragrance that wafts
through the suites and foyer. There are three types of suites catering to the different needs and requirements of guests: Executive
suite, Mountain Junior suite and then there is the proverbial jewel in the crown of the Queen Victoria – the presidential suite,
including a wrap-around balcony with views overlooking Table Mountain and the harbour, as well as a dining room and an
unconventionally large bathroom.

03 Sept 2017
Transfer to Cape Town Airport,
Private Charter to Tutwa
stay for 2 nights at Tutwa Desert Lodge on FI basis with all meals and scheduled activities included
Tutwa Desert Lodge, its thatched profile reminiscent of the surrounding granite outcrops in a crisp unspoiled landscape is set on a
16 000 ha private game reserve in the heart of the Green Kalahari. The lodge, while newly established, is mindful of the sensitivity
of its location, is committed to a greener lifestyle and energy saving practices. With direct access to 24km of exclusive river
frontage onto the iconic Orange River, Tutwa Desert Lodge provides an oasis of calm and cool in this vast and untamed
environment, offering a unique and private wildlife safari experience.
Situated in the remote, north western mineral-rich region of South Africa, and bordering on the Namibia’s border. The Northern
Cape is a vast, sparsely populated region of wide open spaces, spectacular scenery and an ancient heritage.
What the Northern Cape lacks in people, it gains in valuable natural resource; particularly diamonds. These are found in the east of
the province at Kimberley and the extreme west at Alexander Bay. Tutwa is situated in a region referred to as the Green Kalahari.
Essentially a scenic region where klipspringer and Kokerboom (quiver trees) stand in stark silhouette against the African sky, silent
sentinels in a strangely unique environment where only those who have been able to adapt, have survived.
Today the Northern Cape is known largely for its annual display of wild flowers, a popular tourist attraction bringing thousands of
visitors to this magnificent region to enjoy this annual spectacle.
The Northern Cape is also a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts and travellers alike. Renowned for fantastic and diverse
adventure activities encompassing both the Orange River and the desert regions, it’s not surprising that the Northern Cape has
claimed its spot as South Africa’s premier incentive and corporate travel destination.
Tutwa’s unique location in the Green Kalahari: a 16 000 ha private game reserve with exclusive access to 24 km of Orange River
frontage ensures its position as one of South Africa’s most ideal destinations to experience top-end adventure in a unique and
magnificent environment.
Committed to conservation Tutwa is actively engaged in a leopard protection project, in addition to other conservation initiatives
aimed to conserve the natural flora and fauna of this fragile environment. Equally committed to conservation on the Orange River,
Tutwa’s river activities and excursions offer guests world class adventure in a pristine wilderness area.
The colours of Tutwa are organic and muted, with polished floors and high ceilings; and striking original artworks by South African
artists. The cool, spacious interiors of the Lodge offer a perfect sanctuary against the scorching African sun. Guests are surrounded
by the African bush and while you may intend to read there will be distractions.
Discover a wide variety of game on your safari: see leopard, giraffe, zebra, numerous antelope species, abundant birdlife and rare
flora on game drives with professional rangers on open game viewers. Nocturnal game abounds and you are likely to enjoy
sightings of some of South Africa’s elusive nocturnal creatures in their natural environment e.g. aardvark, aardwolf and bat-eared
fox.
Luxurious suites in the Game Lodge are spacious, air-conditioned and dressed with fine linens, along with full bathrooms, personal
bathrobes and indulgent amenities. All suites have their own verandas and balconies offering landscape and mountain views of the
beautiful Green Kalahari.

Overnight Wolwedans Dune Lodge on FI Basis
The Wolwedans Dunes Lodge is set in this magnificent NamibRand reserve and it is perched on top of a dune plateau, constructed
on wooden platforms with a 360deg view of the Namib Desert. The combination of these structures, with large canvas blinds and
windows that open up to the surrounding desert, reflects the ambiance of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection
of a permanent building.
The main complex consists of two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a swimming pool, a fireplace, tea deck, a library, wine
cellar and two dining rooms. All communal areas of the lodge open out onto verandahs with magnificent desert vistas. Guests have
to book in at a reception point, where they will be transported to the lodge.
Accommodation is in 1 of 9 spacious chalets. Each has it's own en-suite bathroom, that leads onto a private veranda with views of
vast stretches of untouched sand. It has been noted by many of their guests that 'sleeping with your canvas blinds open, is as good
as sleeping under the stars.'
Activities are many and can be enjoyed on foot, by car, or from the air. The Lodge's experienced guides will introduce their guests
to the desert's habitat and diverse fauna and flora, and will accompany them into the desert, enlightening them of the wilderness's
own history and residents.
Morning or afternoon drives cover a distance of about 40-50 km and take 3-four hours. Afternoon scenic drives are often combined
with sunset in the dunes.
A day drive is a truly memorable excursion. Covering a distance of about 120 km it offers the highest degree of diversity as well as a
better understanding of the dimensions of the NamibRand Conservancy. Also a delicious picnic lunch is served in the middle of
nowhere! The day drive leaves after breakfast and returns approximately an hour before sunset.

of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango
scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. The main building is attractively designed and constructed of thatch and

after a leisurely breakfast you will return to the aircraft for a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta. You will be amazed at the sights
of the waterways, and if luxky you will even be able to spot some game.
Flight to your lodge on the banks of the Kwando River in the Linyanti area. Arrive in time for lunch.
Activities include Boat Cruises and game drives where you have a great chance to see lots of buffalo and Wild Dog
10 Sept 2017
you have the day to participate in the scheduled activities offered at the lodge
Stepping off the plane at any of Kwando’s camps brings a realisation for most guests that they’ve joined a select group. Very few
people have the opportunity of enjoying such a wilderness experience. The government of Botswana has intentionally followed a
conservation and tourism policy that supports low people density in exchange for a high value experience. This ensures the long
term survival of the wilderness.
The Kwando concession is the finest example of this policy, as no more than 40 tourist beds are permitted on this concession in a
maximum of 2 by 16 bed camps and one 8 bed fly camp. This means there’s a wonderful sense of freedom and space, even at full
occupancy.
Lebala is situated in the south of the Kwando concession, adjacent to the head waters of the Linyanti marshes that form the
boundary between Botswana and Namibia. The southerly flowing Kwando river disappears into the vast marshland before
emerging as the Linyanti river. The triangle formed by this vast wetland is home to the Mamili National Park in Namibia.
Lebala means ‘wide open spaces’ in Setswana and the scenery is dominated by vast plains with scattered palms and tree islands
backed by wooded savannahs. This wild expanse contrasts with the casual understated elegance and luxury of the camp itself.
This special ecosystem is home to a wide variety of Africa’s plains game such as zebra, wildebeest, impala, giraffe and tsessebe and
also provides refuge to lechwe, waterbuck and the shy sitatunga.
The camp itself is comprised of eight custom designed tents, with unique mosquito net walls, allowing an unobstructed flow of
cooling breezes and stunning views. Each spacious tent has its own viewing deck, bathroom and luxurious double outside showers.
Lebala has a staff complement of 22 to cater to our guests. The camp balances understated elegance with untamed Africa to
perfection.
The ability to conduct night drives using the guide and tracker system dramatically enhances the game viewing experience. (30% of
the interesting mammals are only active at night). With the intoxicating sunsets, the tranquility and big horizons, most people are
very reluctant to leave!

Return transfer to Mfuwe airport from where we fly to Lilongwe in Malawi to clear immigration,
continue with your private charter to Likoma island from where you will be transferred to the island paradise of Kaya mawa where
you will stay the next 3 nights.
Overnight in Kaya Mawa in Standard rooms on FI basis
Rated by Condé Nast Magazine as one of the planet's ten most romantic destinations, Kaya Mawa is located on the south-western
tip of Likoma Island in the far north-east of Lake Malawi, close to Mozambique. The island is covered with mango trees and ancient
baobabs and encircled by glorious sandy beaches and rocky coves.
Likoma Island is the larger of two small islands situated in the far north of Lake Malawi, on the east of the Lake and very close to
the Mozambique coastline. To visit the island is to step back in time. Just 17 square kilometres in size, with one small dirt road and
two vehicles, the local people survive largely by fishing, and farming rice and cassava. The island has hundreds of huge baobab
trees and a number of glorious sandy beaches and rocky coves. The waters are crystal clear throughout the year and the diving
and snorkeling is among the best in Lake Malawi
Kaya Mawa Lodge is situated on the south-western tip of the Island at the head of a crescent-shaped bay, surrounded by mango
trees and ancient baobabs. Translated as “Maybe tomorrow” in the local Tonga dialect, the lodge uses the stunning natural
surroundings of beach, rock, island and lake to create a lodge of unique character, imagination and very special ambience. With no
machinery available on the island, Kaya Mawa Lodge was built entirely by hand, in partnership with the local community.
Ten stone and teak-framed thatched cottages - including two family cottages and one honeymoon chalet - have a panoramic view
of the lake and private terraces with direct access to the water. Each one has en-suite bathroom facilities, a four-poster bed,
shower, and a sunken stone bathtub. The honeymoon chalet with its incredible views is tucked away on its own private island.
The stunning setting of the lodge and the unique comfort of the rooms means that many guests choose to make relaxation their
main activity but there are enough activities on offer to keep guests busy.
