The original European settlers from the Barossa township of Tanunda, where the St Hallett winery resides, were known as 'Blockheads'. The origins of the Blockhead name are commonly linked to their stoic, square-jawed character and dedication to the land. At St Hallett, and amongst their descendants, the title is worn as a badge of honour.

Mudhouse Wines sources its Sauvignon Blanc from the Woolshed vineyard in Upper Wairau Valley, Marlborough. Named after the original building, now the vineyard office, it’s located in the shelter of a steep sided triangular hill, which forms a natural barrier to protect the vineyard from spring frost while the canopy diversity produces great depth and diverse flavours.
