Once again, the 2016 Hatfield’s Fuse is a cornucopia of flavours made with twelve different grape varieties. Aromas of

melon, mango, pineapple, and tangerine with a hint of citrus complement the apple and pear flavours. The mouth-

filling fruit ripeness carries through to the long, slightly sweet finish. This versatile white blend is the perfect match for

halibut or cod whether drizzled with herb butter or battered, fried and salted. Also try with butter chicken, mild curries,

pad Thai or drunken crab. 13.0%

Bouquet: Melon, mango, pineapple, and tangerine with a hint of citrus.

Palate: Tropical fruit salad along with apple and pear. Mouth filling fruit ripeness carries through to the lovely, long,

Blasted Church Gewurztraminer 2017 VQA+711200 LRS $13.77 / LIC $17.49 This beautifully balanced wine is 100% estate grown. Classic rose petal, blossom and lychee notes introduce the wine,

followed by spice, orange and lime. Melon and orange open up the attack and lead into a pleasantly oily, but fresh,

mid-palate with the balanced acidity carrying the wine through the textured finish. Pairs well with spicy fish tacos and

curries, but would also work well with barbecued chicken or cheese plates. 13.5%

Our 2015 Pinot Gris is a great expression of an Okanagan Valley Pinot Gris. The colour is golden straw with a hint of

peach. The bouquet has floral, honey, pineapple and citrus characteristics. The palate shows ripe, luscious grapefruit

and pineapple with a great acidic backbone; all of which carry through to the finish. Try pairing our Pinot Gris with

Blasted Church Mixed Blessings 2016 VQA +95455 LRS $17.20 / LIC $18.64 The 2016 vintage sees the Viognier grape highlighted once again in our Mixed Blessings. The bouquet displays aromas

of white peaches and blossoms with a hint of honeydew melon. Similar flavours are present on the palate with a creamy

mouth feel. The acidity of the wine carries through to a lingering finish. This is a versatile wine that would pair nicely

with salmon, chicken or pork, as well as mild Indian dishes or Japanese cuisine. 13.0%

Our 2017 Big Bang Theory is a joyful blend of six different varietals. Floral notes introduce the wine followed by

Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot has a bouquet of cassis, blueberry, dried herbs, and leather, all underlined with

chocolate and coffee notes derived from its time in barrel. On the palate, the round attack carries the notes of dark fruit,

dried herbs, and cocoa through to the mid-palate where the structure builds and persists into the bright, well balanced

finish. Beef, lamb, or venison would provide a great match to the wine in its youth, while duck or mushroom dishes

Our 100% 2015 Merlot has aromas of ripe plum, cola, chocolate, blueberry, and blackberry, leaning towards stewed

fruit and jam with a well-integrated oak profile. On the palate, ripe plum, chocolate, and dark berries lead the way,

supported by a plush, unctuous mouthfeel. Through the mid-palate, the tannins build and persist through to the

balanced finish. The ripe character of this wine would be an ideal pair for grilled steaks and roasted mushrooms. A rich

tomato-based pasta would also play extremely well.

Blasted Church Syrah 2015 VQA +037531 LRS $22.00/ LIC $25.00

*By the Glass $20.49 Our Syrah fruit comes from our Osoyoos and Oliver vineyards. This allows for different ripening times and different

flavours from the clones and soil types. We harvested the Syrah on two different dates. The first picking was in late

September to allow a co-ferment with Viognier and a small portion of Roussanne, while the remainder was picked

early October. Our 2015 Syrah has been co-fermented with Viognier and Roussanne. It features a bouquet of

blackberry, violets, pepper, bacon-wrapped roasted meat and a hint of strawberry. The palate is similar to the nose with

violets, blackberry, plum, and strawberry combining with spicy pepper notes and a savoury toastiness. The vibrant

acidity - balanced by smooth tannins - is present throughout from start to a satisfying finish. Pair our Syrah with steak,

ribs, and roasts. 13.5%

Bouquet: Blackberry, violets, pepper, bacon-wrapped roasted meat and a hint of strawberry.

Palate: Violets, blackberry, plum and strawberry combine with spicy pepper and savoury toastiness.

Blasted Church OMG Sparkling Wine 2012 +138628 LRS $ 22.88 / LIC $25.00 *66% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay, 12% Pinot Blanc

The 2012 vintage was a classic one for sparkling wine. Cool days and cold nights in September led to solid acids and

pronounced fruit development in the grapes. This was true for all three varieties used in this blend: Pinot Noir,

Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. 13.0%

Bouquet: Apple, pear, mineral and almonds. Palate: Crisp apple and pear with some nutty, yeasty characteristics

rounding out the bright finish.

Food Pairings: This Sparkling is at home as an aperitif or served with canapés. It also pairs well with shellfish or try

white fish with beurre blanc sauce. Soft and semi-soft cheese such as Farm House Cheese’s “Lady Jane” would also be

welcome partners.

malolactic) and 6 months on lees. The deep golden hue developed during 3 months of barrel aging. Attractive vanilla

and toffee aromatics with undertones of lemon curd and grilled pineapple. Toasted hazelnut and butterscotch finish.

Chaberton Similkameen Valley Gewürztraminer 2017 VQA +714261 LRS $13.99 / LIC $16.75 Gewürztraminer is a German term that means “spicy (or perfumed) grape from the town of Traminer”. Sourced from a

single vineyard, Rocky Ridge, located in the Similkameen Valley, the floral nose makes it easily recognizable. Off

dry, this white wine offers a hint of nutmeg, notes of candied ginger on the palate and a white pepper spice finish.

Enjoy with spicy curries, teriyaki or Thai chicken, Quiche Lorraine and strong cheeses. 12.7%

Chaberton Reserve Pinot Gris 2017 VQA+627638 LRS $13.99 / LIC $16.75 Grapes from Blind Creek Vineyard found in the Similkameen Valley (60%) and Stoneboat Vineyard from the

Okanagan Valley (40%) were soaked for 19 hours. The whole berries were then pressed to extract the gorgeous coral

color from the skin contact. Aromas of candied fruit are joined by citrus notes and ruby grapefruit which build into a

lasting tangerine finish. Enjoy with seafood or creamy pastas, poultry dishes and goat cheese dressed salads with a

light lemony vinaigrette. 12.7%

Dhaliwal Vineyard. This Rosé wine has sweet rose petal aromatics and hints of strawberry rhubarb. It has citrus zest on

the palate and candy-floss confection on the finish. Winemaker’s Notes: Both varieties were cold soaked for two days

A blend of 48% Cab Franc, 45% Cab Sauvignon and 7% Malbec from Okanagan Valley vineyards. This savoury red

wine has flavours of raspberry, cassis and vanilla. Enjoy with strong cheeses, red meat dishes and dark chocolate.

Three different grape varietals from three vineyards were blended for this year’s Valley Cab. Oak barrel aged. 13.5%

Chaberton Gamay Noir 2017 VQA +567321 LRS $16.49 / LIC $16.95 Ripened to perfection, the grapes for this lighter bodied red wine are from Chaberton’s very own Fraser Valley

vineyard. Raspberry and red currant fruit notes with a hint of white pepper. Subtle tannin structure, crisp acidity and

sweet cherry and plum fruitiness. Enjoy with light summer salads, quiche, grilled fish, roasted turkey or chicken,

cheese plates and berry desserts. Can be served slightly chilled. Winemaker’s Notes: Please note that this wine has

only gone through coarse filtration and zero fining. As a red chilled in the fridge...do not be alarmed if it precipitates

tartaric crystals in the bottles with prolonged (>5 days) chilling at 4°C. 11.5%

Chaberton Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 VQA+788737 LRS $19.95 / LIC $23.25 Specially selected grapes from the Oliver, Cawston and Naramata growing regions were aged for 19 months in both

new French and American Oak barrels. Full aromatics of floral notes and delicate spice. Weighted palate with fine

grained tannins. Dried black prunes, mandarin peel, and dark cherry fruit characteristics with a raisin and tobacco leaf

finish. 13.1%

Chaberton Valley Reserve Merlot 2015 VQA+70540 LRS $20.25/LIC $23.75 Grapes sourced from three premium vineyards on the Naramata Bench were chosen for their distinctive varietal

characteristics. Fermented and aged separately for 24 months (28% new and 72% 3rd and 4th used barrels) Each barrel

was classified and from these only specific ones were then blended together to produce this outstanding Merlot.

Medium bodied with ripe blueberry and violet nose. Dried prune and raisin notes with a dark caramel/toffee on the

finish. 13.5%

Chaberton Valley Reserve Syrah 2014 VQA+787630 LRS $23.74 / LIC $28.75 Grapes from Saddle Ridge Vineyard in Oliver, BC were aged for 20 months in new French and American oak barrels.

Dark prune and blackberry aromas with earthy undertones. Sweet caramel and mocha on the palate. Broad tannin

structure. Soft acidity with a long finish of truffles and mushrooms. Pair with grilled and BBQ’d red meat, roast lamb,

and rich savoury stews. 13.3%

Elephant Island Stellaport 2011 +398602 LRS $20.38 / LIC $24.49 A port-style wine made exclusively from estate grown Stella cherries. Cherries are harvested from a specific orchard

site which receives concentrated southwest exposure for the duration of the ripening season, producing extremely

sweet, concentrated fruit. In crafting Stellaport, we employ the Spanish technique of “solera”. Through this process a

mother barrel was established in 2001. Each year we release half the barrel replacing it with the current year’s vintage.

The 2011 release of Stellaport captures the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 vintages in

increasing proportion.

Fairview Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2017 VQA +30037 LRS $17.26 / LIC $18.50 With a style very similar to the 2016, Fairview again using grapes from the Iverson’s vineyard and Fairview’s own.

Each vineyard adds its own depth and flavor to this wine. As with previous vintages Semillon coming from the Iverson

Vineyard is used adding even more complexity. One third of the juice was barrel fermented in new French oak “sur

lies” for three months. Although oysters are not the only food pairing it is our favorite for sure. 13.1%

Fairview Cellars Crooked Post Pinot Noir 2016 VQA +119365 LRS $18.18 / LIC $21.19 2012 marked the first year that the Eagle Bluff Vineyard was full production. Because of the quality of the Fournier

grapes it has been decided to continue blending the two wines for the foreseeable future. The resulting blend has

produced the typical style of past vintages. 13.0%

Fairview Cellars Merlot 2016 VQA+6135528 New! LRS $20.32/ LIC $20.32 To keep the small but vibrant group of Merlot lovers happy, I choose to bottle a small number of cases of Merlot on its

own. This year the Merlot bottling will come exclusively from the Fairview Estate vineyard. Golden Mile Bench

Merlot was used as scientific proof that the Bench is unique enough to have its own Sub-application. 15.2%

Fairview Cellars Two Hoots 2016 VQA (Cab Sauv/Merlot) +270348 LRS $20.32 / LIC $23.49 A Cabernet/Merlot blend specifically produced and priced for daily consumption. (really!) Although there are many

reasons for the name Two Hoots, the main reason is to honor the return every year of the Great-Horned Owls to nest on

the Fairview property. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc is fashioned to make the wine

available to drink within 3 years of production yet be able to hold in the bottle for upwards of 10 years. Of course, this

varies with vintages. 15.5%

Fairview Cellars “Madcap Red” 2009 VQA +646166 Last Stock LRS $37.72 / LIC $43.69 Madcap Red is a predominantly Merlot blend, with enough Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to make the wine

an interesting drink. Lighten than the Cab Blends, Madcap is an easy drinking red that can be drunk on its own, but is a

complex enough to pair with a good steak or plate of soft blue cheeses. 14.8%

SILVER Northwest Wine Summit 2015

Fairview Cellars Madcap Red 2014 VQA+389841 LRS $18.81/LIC $21.79 Madcap Red is a wine crafted for the Merlot lover. Over 50% of this blend is always Merlot. Cabernet Sauvignon and

Cabernet Franc are added to augment the full mid-palate mouth feel provided by the Merlot. Fairview Merlot is

typically recognized by its soft tannins and big ripe dark red fruits which come through in this blend. 14.9%

Fairview Cellars Bucket O’Blood 2015 VQA +52200 Back in Stock! LRS $25.56 / LIC $27.49 Named in honour of the Moffatt Saloon nicknamed “The Bucket Of Blood” by the miners of the 1890’s. This Saloon

was situated up the “Reed Creek” draw above the Fairview Townsite. Syrah is the theme grape in this wine, but it is

not necessarily the predominant in terms of volume. There is only one row of Syrah planted on the estate producing no

more than two barrels in any one year; thus, depending on the year and the quality of the wine, either Cabernet

Sauvignon or Cabernet Franc or both can be used in the blend. 15.1%

Fairview Cellars Fume Franc 2015 VQA +458117 LRS $25.54 / LIC $29.49 2015 proved to be another challenging year due to hot dry weather and an accompanying thunderstorm. This time the

storm brought lightening and fire instead of hail. The subsequent fire burned for several weeks. This Cabernet Franc

shows a tinge of what can happen when fire gets close to a vineyard. Along with all the typical Cabernet Franc

flavours subtle notes of peat, hickory, and saddle leather can be detected. 15.3%

Premier Series

Fairview Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon PS 2015 VQA+571430 LRS $37.74 / LIC $43.99

2015 has proven that year after year the Fairview terroir has the ability to ripen Cabernet Sauvignon producing many of

the classic flavours associated with this varietal. As part of the Premier Series line the grapes for this wine were all

sourced from the estate vineyard where the vines were intensively managed to produce the best that the Okanagan has

to offer. Once in the Cellar only the best barrels were selected for the final blend. These barrels were set aside and left

for an extra 6 months before being prepared for bottling. 15.3%

Fairview Cellars Hailing a Cab PS 2013 VQA+45039 New! LRS $30.15 / LIC $35.99 2013 premier series Cabernet saw a hail storm hit the Fairview Cellars home vineyard. Strong winds from the west

meant that all the west facing bunches were affected. These grapes were harvested separately. Although not as rich

and big as the first wine Bill produced from hail damaged fruit (The Wrath), this wine exhibits all the tell-tale attributes

of a big Cabernet Sauvignon. 14.6% 310 cases produced

of the delicate fruit flavours. The sweetness is balanced by the concentrated acidity and tannins. Ice wine can be

LRS $37.17 / LIC $43.48 In 2014, we had a classic Okanagan Valley vintage, a typical spring with average rainfall and temperatures from mid-

April to mid-June. From June to the end of July we had incredible weather with temperatures in the mid to high

twenties and little rainfall. Flowering during this time went through without delay due to the ideal climatic conditions.

Through the critical version period from early August through to early September the daytime temperatures were

typically in the low to mid-thirties. From September through October we had fantastic conditions for ripening; low to

mid-twenties for day time highs with cool night time temperatures. All together a beautiful fall season which was

and waxy notes. It then has beautiful over ripe Kerner aromas of dried mango and dried pineapple. A slight caramel

and clove component reveals the 100% new French oak but it is certainly subtle. There are also yellow flowers and

then a subtle baked sweetness of a pear tart or apple pie. Palate is powerful and dry. Originally a bit briny but

immediately shows off tropical fruit, mandarin and marmalade. A mild spiciness that has a ginger note and then

sultanas, apricots and fresh fig carry the big warm finish. Complex and unorthodox with a grippy but not bitter finish,

think more Vin Jaune or Sherry when pairing with food or aperitivo. 500ml 14.5%

beautiful. The nose is full of white peach and nectarine, with some tropical flower aromas, think frangipani or feijoa.

Palate is all stone fruit, with peach and nectarine returning with layers of vanilla and star anise. Shows the power of a

barrel fermented white, with the flavour profile unique to a white Pinot Noir. 13.5%

black cherry, white pepper and dark chocolate. There is a seductive sweetness here from the rich ripe fruit, and plenty

of power, with warming alcohol carrying the finish. Full bodied but supple and very drinkable. One of our best Oldfield

“After 23 years of crafting wines from the estate’s Diamondback Vineyard on Black Sage Bench and Tinhorn Creek

Vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench, Tinhorn finally has its flagship red wine: The Creek. And it was well worth

waiting for. It’s a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 9% Malbec and 2% Petit

Verdot that was pressed and racked to 40% new French and Hungarian oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and

ageing. The wines were racked to tank for blending in spring 2016, and then returned to barrel for a further eight

months, for a total of 24 months of barrel ageing. It’s about sheer elegance on the nose, a sum of its parts, showing

blackberries, cherries, black licorice, graphite, cassis and toasted oak spice and vanilla. It shows its teeth on the palate

with a firm foundation of ripe tannins and generous fruit, spice, campfire smoke and earth. It is but a baby at this point

and needs time to all calm down to fully appreciate the beauty. Wait for it, it is the new flagship wine, after all”
